The Bobcat Nation

Out of all the games on our schedule, Idaho by far scares me the most. It’s hard to say that any game other than Cat-Griz is the game of the year, but I think it will be the Idaho game for us. Their defense is legit, and they look good in the trenches on both sides of the ball. Haven’t skipped a beat with injured QB’s either. Glad we have them at home, but we better be ready for a battle when they come to Bozeman!

Not taking away from Idaho. Albany may have been ranked a little high. None the less it’s a ranked win. However, Albany barely got past a team last week that had like 2 or 4 wins last year.

Right, Albany might not be close to the same team as last year, but the fact that Idaho competed with Oregon and beat Wyoming last week, and is now doing this to a respected FCS team… I think they’re legit

Didn't Albany lose the whole defense and about 17 starters overall.

Their D seems pretty legit. I think the fact we have em at home might make the difference. And I don’t think anyone can stop our run game, I’ll believe that when I see it. But they might be our biggest competition in the Big Sky.

Idaho’s defense is good. MSU underperforms against them. Would probably be a close game even if Idaho stinks.

Idaho at home under the lights is going to be a sweet game.

I’ve been guilty of thinking this before. There are plenty of teams who can stop MSU’s run game. Idaho, gris, DSU’s.

Maybe, but NDSU just gave up 270 yards rushing at 7.1 yards per carry against ETSU. Penalty filled game too.

I'm convinced MSU can run on anyone IF MSU has enough of a passing game to keep opponents from loading the box and selling out on the run.

They are cocky and will be amped up by Eck. Cats will have to come out and set the tone with these guys early. Good thing we are at home.

In hindsight, yes. Although I went back and looked at Vim's thread about Class of 2020 Montana recruits and he didn't even rank Keyshawn in his Top 50 that year. If MSU missed on him it probably happened last year when Idaho got him to transfer there from Tech.
