Around the FCS 9/14

Robert Morris, one of, if not the worst D-1 program in the nation is beating Mercyhurst 21-0 in the second quarter. I give Leon big props for finding a D-1 game given insanely short notice but damn SFA. I’m pretty sure a team of just freshman Cats would beat this team.

Yeah, I watched the Howard game and it was kind of sad. Mercyhurst actually came back and should have won the Howard game too, but lost it in a weird couple of plays at the very end. The Mercyhurst/Cat game will be over by the second quarter and I expect to see the entire roster play. Kudos to Leon finding someone to play though and FU SFA!

This is easily preventable through childhood vaccinations. No excuse for this and now both teams will pay the price.

Watching the replay on ESPN+. We really have to thank Mercyhurst for coming to play us. They got us out of a very tough spot. The students shouldn't boo them in pre-game warmups they should applaud them. Because this game is going to be very rough for them. Tommy should not be allowed to cross the line of scrimmage and should be sat down by the 2nd quarter. One of their light little guys could stumble into him awkwardly and cause a freak injury. Oh boy it's gonna be ugly. Judging by how their quarterback throws there should be at least a couple of pick sixes...if he can get a pass off that is.

Kinda hoping SFA wins enough games to get sent to BZN for the playoffs. They would hear the boos rain down, unfortunately I don’t think they are good enough for that.

Will North Dakota jump UM in the polls now?

UM is manhandling the #2 ranked team in the nation at home. This game gives UM the automatic birth into the playoffs. Just kidding.

Gris up 46 in the 3rd quarter and Bobby still has the starters in.

The only close game I can find is No. Colorado and Abeline Xtian.

ISU had too many turnovers vs ND.

Up 52-2 and Morninghew says "there goes the chance for a shut out."

Fans were booing player on kickoff because he didn't try for a return.

Stay classy gris

It’s also a city, not a state!

One of my favorite chants from back in the day. Good times…

The upside is that I get to see our Cats, in-person, in a few weeks. Assuming there’s not a measles outbreak or something.

either Covid or BLM will cancel the next game.
