UC Davis Roll Call

I will be making my first trip to UC Davis this year. Does anyone know what the plan is typically for that weekend? Is there a fire up on Friday? Do most cat fans stay up at UC Davis following the game Saturday night? I am trying to figure out where I will be booking hotel rooms. Also going to the Niners game on Sunday. Should be a great weekend! Thanks in advance for any input.
GO CATS!!!

There's nothing on the MSU Alumni Association website as of right now, but I'd recommend calling them. They put on the official tailgates and sometimes a Friday night event if there's enough interest. They might be waiting to see how many people will be there so it could be helpful for them to hear from fans planning on attending.

They actually have the times posted for a Friday night gathering and a tailgate on Saturday. The locations are not set yet. There is a good contingent of Bobcats in CA so there will be events planned.

Welp, either they updated the website right after I checked or I'm an idiot. Most likely the latter.

Nah…you just had to dig one level further down. It’ll pop up a level when they get sites named… probably in October. You’re still coherent and valued!

Davis is a great place to watch the Cats. Visit wine country for a couple days and then head to game. Stadium is nice, its small but bowled in with grass, nice feel. A couple good bars downtown to celebrate the win.

We went in '19.
Got there a couple days early and explored Yosemite. Luckily, we had fabulous weather and very small crowds.

Come hang out in Sonoma County wine country (better than Napa and less pricey) for a few days, and be sure to check out this little business while you're here (very Bobcat friendly).

When we go visit family in Sac and Woodland we stay at the LaQuinta on the South side of I-80. Only a few blocks away from the downtown area.
And as Sonoma says, head to the wind county. A little call-out to my cousin Vicki. She has Amista Vineyards/Winery west on Dry Creek road in Healdsburg.

We'll need to borrow some kids...so we don't look out of place! We're going to Davis too-our 2nd to last Big Sky venue to visit (Cal Poly will be the only one left).
