I look at the pronunciation guide and I realize I have been saying Tommy’s name wrong forever. I have been saying mell-LOT instead of mull-LOT

The only changes from last week's depth chart are at the safety positions. Steel or Pottenger replaces Tayden Gray at backup strong safety, and Taki U. replaces Pottenger at backup free safety along with Stillwell. Hopefully this means good news about Moore's injury even if they might sit him this week as a precaution.

I kept wondering who 17 was last week playing free safety- Taki got a lot of play. He’s got the body type you’d like to see at free safety. Per Vigen's press conference - Reed, Mastel, and Justus Perkins will all still be out this week but Conner Moore has a "fair chance" of playing. Tommy is fine. They will know more on Casey Kautzman in the next day or two.

Background: During Tommy’s freshman campaign and prior to him starting at QB, I sat next to a fellow who kept calling him Tony Mellot.
