I hear Elliott was on crutches, but anyone else?

Couple others looked a little hobbled but got back in the game. Probably cramping. Overall pretty good I think. Really sucks with Elliott.

Zach black was hurt early in the game, not sure if he came back or not?

Tommy and Humphrey really took some hits yesterday. Those guys will feel like they have been in a war. Having two bye weeks will be huge this year!

Everything sounds fairly encouraging on the injury front. Zack Black's looked bad but he came back in so assuming he's fine. Elliot's was the worst, and Vigen said he's probably out for a few weeks. So the others are all supposed to be back soon if I heard correctly? This would include Perkins, Reid, Palidore, Kautzman, and Davis... anyone else?

Our schedule sets up perfect to rest some guys and get them healthy after getting this win.

Two very middle of the road FCS teams that we should beat without needing all hands on deck, followed by a bye week, then followed by probably the worst opponent the Cats have played in a few years.

We have the better part of a month before conference play starts and really need those guys back.
Hope it works out well to get them healthy and 100%.

middle of the road? they would be lucky to place 9 or 10 in BSC. oh wait, sorry, that is middle of the road. bottom half of FCS ( or last ).

I believe he was in on that 4 and 1, when we spread 5 wide and taco forgot the hot route over the middle. You could see Tommy point up when he was on the ground. Would have been a touchdown, they blitz everybody.

Maine is probably middle of the road. Mercyhurst is really really bad. Very bottom of the FCS. But, Idaho State will be more of a game than you are thinking.

I don't see Trimble's name on the Participation page of the box score. He must have gotten dinged up in Fall camp. He was a big contributor towards the end of last season with Taco out.

Danny U is also not listed on the participation board.

Not quite the right games…

Next game is Utah Tech, they’re middle of the road FCS

Then Maine, also a middle of the road FCS team.

Then a bye week.

And last non conference game is Mercyhurst who is likely the worst team the Cats have played in years.

Utah Tech and Maine combined for what, 3-4 wins last year?

Yes. I would still consider Maine a middle of the road team though. They have played a lot of close games over the last couple years and are traditionally mid to upper finishers in the CAA. UT Tech though, no. Bottom 3rd team.

Middle of the road is a pretty broad term, I feel like this is splitting hairs over a non-issue.

Middle of the road would be, what, the 40th to 80th best teams in the FCS roughly? It’s reasonable to see Maine and UT in that general range, maybe in the 60-80 range or so.

Anyway… the point is they have 3 opponents coming up that they shouldn’t need all hands on deck to defeat. Depth guys at a few positions should be more than enough to get the job done against all 3.

Throw a bye week in there and there is a full month to get these guys back before conference play starts.
