What is the most a FCS team has been favored over an FBS team? 10.5 seems like it could be the most. Slightly surprised to see odds going up quick with Perk, Davis, and Dru injured… maybe UNM really isn’t great as they are 187 on the total rankings.

Mendenhall is an experienced coach. UMN is still FBS. They have a lot of transfers and there will be some playmakers. I think Cats -10.5 is crazy.

UMN is completely unknown at this point.
Correct. We are in the age of the transfer portal, and UNM brought in a bunch of them, and a whole new staff. Nobody really knows what kind of team they have yet.

Another season, another terrible job hanging the FIB advertising!

I believe it's 70 for FBS games and 58 for FCS opponents.
from 2023 season.
When air travel and/or overnight lodging are involved, the travel squad limit for Conference,
non-Conference (except FBS) and FCS playoff games shall be fifty-eight (58) student-athletes.
The travel squad limit for FBS games shall be seventy (70).
(a) There is no travel squad limit for non-Conference contests (including FBS) when air travel
and/or overnight lodging are not involved

I had that epiphany last night. I don't remember most games I've seen, but ONE stands out which fits your point completely, the NDSU @ Montana game, Stitts first.
NDSU was a well known quantity, lots of NCs. I think they overlooked Stitt, as the Griz were horrible the three previous years.
Overlooking Bronco would be disastrous, as he has a proven record in FBS. The so called National Press don't know ****** about FCS, and IMO, don't do any real research, just quote others who don't do the work either.
Therefore, I think it will be a 10-14 point win, by the Lobos.
