Pathway to Season Tickets
Hi all,
My Wife and I were hoping to get a couple of season tickets for the upcoming season.
Having seen that they were supposed to go on sale today, 6/1, we were anxious for today to come. I have now seen in the forum that someone posted on 5/14 that season tickets were sold out.
So, we are looking for some insight for the 2025 season. We do know a couple people that have season tickets, so we will try to reach out to them next year to see if they can add tickets during the renewal process.
But, outside of that, what can we do to give ourselves a better chance next season. I know that they use a priority system based off of donations. Is this something that we can pay into now to get on the priority list? Any feedback or thoughts are greatly appreciated.
We're both pretty bummed out, being alumni and finally being in a position where we can buy the tickets and have the time to go to the games.

Yeah, I saw they were sold out too. Hope you have luck getting single game tickets to the games you want this year. Think I saw those don’t go on sale till August 5th.

Man, these kind of posts get me every time. I really enjoy the fact that the Cats sell out their home games but I know there are newer fans that want to become season ticket holders too. I wish there were more season tickets available to purchase.
Anyway, try and get single game tickets, if you can. Heck, depending on the seat location, you may end up paying less for single game tickets than you would buying a season ticket package. I'd also try to piggyback off of your friend's season tickets as well, that's a good idea. I'd call up the ticket office and see what you can do otherwise. Ask the ticket office how donating would affect your placement on the list. I would think current season ticket holders would still have priority though. Unless, of course, your donations are game changers, like funding for a new East grandstand. Fund that project and then you can probably get a nice luxury box thrown in for free.
Tickets for almost all games are available here in the ticket exchange too. Don't give up on the season tickets, patience is your friend.
Oh, consider becoming a QBC member too. That is a great way to network with other season ticket holders and Bobcat fans. I'm able to find extra tickets to games from the friends I've met in that club. QBC membership costs are also included on the priority donations listing.

Bobcat athletics is a business to the coaches, school leadership, and players. It's time the fans treat Bobcat athletics as a business too.

All good points AFCAT. The subject of this thread is the other side of the coin to every post from someone saying the seat ticket prices are getting too high. It is a difficult balance to find and keep.
Being tenacious and willing to pay will get you seats to almost any game at Bobcat stadium. The same is true for getting season tickets, but that may take some time to get the season tickets. You'll improve your luck getting game tickets this year by posting early and often about your wanting to get tickets.
If you're looking for someone with a little authority, I'm your man. I have as little as anyone!

Bummer about the season tickets. Signs of a quality program I suppose. dUMb had an impenetrable waitlist during their run before the program and entire university went to hell.
The new era of digital ticketing has made it super easy and relatively safe to buy and transfer tickets. I've made several transactions in both directions with posters on this board and never had a problem. I'm a big fan of the whole ticket system as it's working now.

It would be nice for newer fans, or long time fans that want to go to more than a random game, if the school would sell smaller packages. I could see them offering a package where you buy 2 tickets to 3 games (Cat/griz not eligible of course and maybe not Gold Rush either). They obviously don't need to do this but it would probably bring in more new fans.
Eastwood, did not make it. Ball out! Recovered, by Montana State!! The Bobcats hold!!! The Bobcats hold!!!

Re: Pathway to Season Tickets
@kmax considering the relevance to this thread (and needing to secure some extra tickets myself for a game or two), when do you plan on getting the ticket exchange threads up and running? Just curious. Thanks!AFCAT wrote: ↑Sun Jun 02, 2024 9:23 amMan, these kind of posts get me every time. Have your friends that are season ticket holders, get on the list for extra season tix. Pay them and the next season, they can transfer those tickets into your name. I've done it. Easy-Peasy.

Re: Pathway to Season Tickets
Im torn on that. MSU sells approximately 12,000 season tickets. Then add in the student section. There just arent many single game tickets available for purchase and I think that is important for people who arent season ticket holders.AFCAT wrote: ↑Sun Jun 02, 2024 9:23 amMan, these kind of posts get me every time. Capacity for the stadium is listed at 20,767. Yes, I know that includes SRO.
Great time to be a BOBCAT!
