I thought of an idea for offseason content that fans would probably enjoy. How about a "Where are they now?" feature for players 2-3, 5, 10+ years after their playing days?
It would be great if the MSU media team could do this as they'd probably have the best access to former players but as history has shown, they generally start lists and profiles and within a month or two just randomly stop because something else (or nothing at all) comes up. I know @Colter_Nuanez would rather talk about football than baseball in the spring/summer and Victor Flores needs something to do between spring and fall camp. How about it guys? I know you're both on here regularly. Let's do this!

I always thought that would be a great idea for MSU to do this as well. I'd also like to see some video of plays from past years. It's pretty easy to put up that type of content if they have access to the video. Old radio calls would be cool to listen to as well. This type of thing could be done for B-ball, V-ball, and even track. Throwback Thursday, let's go.

I did a "Catching up with the 'Cats" podcast series a few years ago....it got ok traffic... I'll post links here. And if you'd like more, say so and I'll revive it!
For reference, the subjects I chose for season 1 were basically the group of guys who played for the Cats when I first started covering MSU who I have since stayed friends with. There's obviously plenty more from the last 13 years...and from before my time covering the Cats that we could choose as well so let me know!

You've done a good job of that. Perk has done a nice job with his RBar interviews combining former cats and current cats. The "Ryan and the other guy" podcast has had some good former cats. Always good stuff....
This happened a while ago but I'm catching up on the Meat Eater podcast and got to the episode where they talk about dinner with the Bobcats.
And we all know the collapse after Rinella spent two hours with them. He ruined everything.
Maybe he shouldn't be one of our motivational speakers after he beat a lineman at pull ups.
I would hope an in shape average sized man could do more pull-ups than a lineman.
And as a former lineman, I always knew the little guys were gonna beat me in a pull-up competition. If and when I got beat, I sure didn't lose any sleep over it.
I usually let posters have their "fun" but had to report johnny appleseed. I think he went way overboard with a comment.
I've reported that Walmart gris fan many times and got him put in twitter jail a few times. I just block him now. Obviously, he is a pathetic little incel with nothing else to do in his life. Oh, and I see that he skulks around here as well.
He's completely deranged but he's doing the exact opposite of his intentions. He's simply making the um fan base look really bad. So, keep it up.
Wow. I just looked him up and am blown away. This is beyond trolling. And it definitely makes all of UM fans look bad. Anybody know who this guy actually is?

I was going to say the BK comment was pretty tame, then I read further down the comment thread.
Yeah, it's actually kind of hard to find that comment but that's over the line of rivalry banter.
Just check out his twitter page, that's all he does. Really kind of a sad and pathetic person. I actually pity him.
I've read his stuff before, and it's all ridiculous and pathetic, but I don't recall anything quite as egregious as calling a woman the C word on there. There's trolling, and that's funny--then there's this guy. If there was a Bobcat fan on twitter that acted like him I'd be livid. And there probably is one, I just don't like searching through that cess pool long enough to find it.

It’s either Hauck’s burner account or just another loser fan that lives in his moms basement and has never had a girlfriend or a job.

Instead of discussing this guy on Bobcat Nation which is exactly the type of attention he wants, everyone should do what I did months ago and simply block him.
