Cats vs. Portland State Predictions

We've enjoyed the Weber win for 24 hours +, now we move on to PSU. Another hard team to figure out. Destroyed by top 10 Oregon, destruction of NAIA North American (with less than 400 yards of offense), and domination of a baaaaad Cal Poly team. I don't think we know anything about them yet. Their QB is a decent passer and mobile, it'll be important to contain him.

No analysis for this one, but I think we should win by 30+.

Cats - 52
Vikings - 17

PSU also hung with Wyoming and had a TD erased late that would have brought it to 24-31.

They have some playmakers but I suspect their lines won’t be able to hang for 4 quarters. They run the ball, #2 in the Big Sky and have only thrown like 5 more passes than we have.

Both teams have good offenses and will put up some points, but MSU's defense will get a few more stops. 50-28 Bobcats.

I think we have a bit of a hangover after the party in Ogden. 'Cats 38-17. Couple of questions:

1. Will we see Tommy?
2. Will Casey Kautzman be kicking FG's and XP's?

I'm guessing both of those questions will be answered later today when MSU releases this week's depth chart. My hunch is the answers will be no and yes, respectively.

Currently, 40% chance of rain and temps in the 50s. Bad weather keeps a lot of fans away. Run the dang ball and Cats win.

Wyoming isn't good. PSU is about to be reminded of what an actual stadium and a real defense look like. I'm sure you all saw what Oregon did to them? It should be similar this Saturday.

Wyoming is 3-1 and beat Texas Tech, App State, and weren't embarrassed against Texas. My WAG is they are as good as the Cats maybe better.
