Whoa. No kidding? I had no idea a practice squad member made that kind of money. Thats absolutely awesome. Good for Ty!!!

Pretty sure it's only for the season, but even at 20 weeks that's almost a quarter million bucks a season. Not sure if there's any other compensation for OTA's and other off-season stuff. Either way, it's enough that a guy doesn't have to drive for Uber Eats to make ends meet!

O'Connell was waived but re-signed to the practice squad, just like Okada.

It’s interesting that some folks were giving Okada the least chance of making a roster (not counting Andersen and Singleton) and he is the only one, so far, that made one. The other guys still have time though.

I don't think he's actually playing. He had a picture and a video of a game in Green Bay, but that was preseason. He had another one with a Cowboys player, but that was also preseason. There was another picture in the cockpit of an airliner with his brother, so I think that was just a "here's what I've been doing the last couple months" post.

Appears he’s still on the practice squad and has yet to been moved to the 53 active roster.

Love to see it. 5th starter from that 2021 team to make the league. From former undersized FCS walk-on to Seattle Seahawk.

Hope he has a long career, but even if this is his only NFL action, for the rest of his life, he'll be able to call himself an NFL player.
