Purdy and Tommy

Anyone else feel like there are some real similarities? As I've read articles about Purdy, Tommy just keeps coming to mind.

Just my opinion but I don't think they are similar with maybe the exception having the ability to rise to the occasion. Purdy is a refined thrower, not a great runner but effective, and has a cocky confidence about him similar to the top QBs in the league. Tommy is not a refined thrower, an exceptional runner, and one of the most humble people on the planet. Again, just my opinion. If Tommy learns how to see the middle of the field in the passing game...then maybe we can start making comparisons!

Fair assessment. I guess the rising to the occasion and level head were the main things I saw. I haven't perceived Purdy as cocky but I've mostly read articles rather than seen interviews.

The similarity that I see is both were offered scholarships by Montana State...

They are both quarterbacks….. both white…. Both under the age of 30….

The similarities are uncanny! It’s hard to tell them apart.

Ha. Just havin some fun... In all seriousness I feel like they do have that same “it factor”, and seem to both be good leaders.

Great comparison in my opinion. If Tommy had Power 5 linemen and receivers one would have to say there's an uncanny likeness. I like these comments from those who faced Purdy in college:

DeNarius’ game was more like Purdy’s than Mellott’s.

Seattle to Billings to Missoula to Bozeman to Portland to Billings

What a ride
