Why must we endure a major scoreless streak every 2nd half?

The opposing coaches make adjustments at halftime to stop the most consistent scoring plays for the Bobcats.GavinDonos wrote:Win or lose, I hate 'em
Good observation. We need to learn to adjust in the second half when we have a lead.PapaG wrote:Scoreless streaks are a sign of a team that is being outcoached.
Yeah, but these streaks don't seem to happen until about 10 min left, not right away. Heck, we hit 7 of 8 to open up the 2nd.PapaG wrote:The opposing coaches make adjustments at halftime to stop the most consistent scoring plays for the Bobcats.GavinDonos wrote:Win or lose, I hate 'em

Ever think that you guys are just playing a better team?PapaG wrote:GavinDonos wrote:The opposing coaches make adjustments at halftime to stop the most consistent scoring plays for the Bobcats.
I think that is an even stronger indication of coaching adjustments. I takes the oppenent a few minutes to make all the adjustments that were planned at half. Meanwhile we keep doing what worked in the first half and then when the oppenents adjustments kick in we have nothing.GavinDonos wrote:Yeah, but these streaks don't seem to happen until about 10 min left, not right away. Today yes, we were playing a better team, but these streaks happen all the time no matter who the competition is.MaZooLaGriz wrote:Ever think that you guys are just playing a better team?
Were the 8 shots from the inside or the outside? I couldn't listen to the game because my wife is out shopping and I've got the kids. I say this because a team can get an outside shot at any time. It is when the outside shots stop falling that some dependable post plays or back-cuts need to be in the offense.GavinDonos wrote:Yeah, but these streaks don't seem to happen until about 10 min left, not right away. Not when the same thing happens every single game of the season.MaZooLaGriz wrote:Ever think that you guys are just playing a better team?
No not really, but at least our coach runs a clean program!MaZooLaGriz wrote:Ever think that you guys are just playing a better team?
Many of us turned on this coach LONG ago.MaZooLaGriz wrote:... and you guys giggle at how we turn on our coaches!!
The Grizzlies are the better team and have a better coach.MaZooLaGriz wrote:PapaG wrote:Ever think that you guys are just playing a better team?GavinDonos wrote:The opposing coaches make adjustments at halftime to stop the most consistent scoring plays for the Bobcats.
Oh, you can't criticize him! You shall now be ostracized! Feel free to pick on any other player, however. This is deemed acceptable.BigSkyCat wrote:How many times does Casey Durham have to have his pocket picked or throw the ball away or throw up a wild three-pointer before daddy yanks his butt???
I've been saying this for years now, at least four of them on our various Bobcat message boards. Plenty of posters here can back this up.MaZooLaGriz wrote:... and you guys giggle at how we turn on our coaches!!
