Yes you are right Vim, he will be with the team in Fargo and thru the end of the season. Entering the Portal I understand was done in concert with the coaches. Entering the Portal now is a timing thing to give him a better chance of finding an opportunity starting next semester. He is a very talented young man and I wish him much success. Good luck Ruben!!

Apologies if he did in fact take snaps. He is not on any official participation report, including the Norfolk State game. I was not at the Norfolk game (it was the one game I did not attend this year) so I have no personal proof, therefore I just had to rely on the stats and participation report and Beltran is not included in either.
