17-14 MSU.

Overly specific prediction: Bailey hits a 52 yard walk off.
...from the left hash. That right hash is dangerous for Tristan.

Hopefully we'll have one time out left to move the ball to the left hash.

Fun one first: My heart is telling me that we can win this game. It'll be close but at that point where NDSU usually pulls away, it will be the Cats that outlast them. 24-17 Cats

My head is telling me that they are just too good at home and will score a td midway through the fourth to ice it. 30-16 Bizon

I have to say, its quite refreshing at least having more than a modicum of hope we pull this off. Last year it just seemed like we were spent and had nothing left by the time we ran into that buzz saw.

I think it's going to go down like this....

It's getting later into the 4th quarter. It's been a close game throughout but the Bison lead by less than a single score and are driving. They make it down into the red zone and look like they may be ready to close this one out when.....Brayden Konkol jumps a route and gives Trey Lance his first pick of the season. Konkol weaves through traffic and takes it to the house to put the Cats ahead. On the kickoff the Bison returner tries to make a little too much happen on the return and loses the ball, Cats recover. 3 plays later on 3rd and 1 as Ifanse is just trying to pick up the first down to ice the game he breaks through the line, bounces off a line backer and races for a touchdown.

I mean, it's just a thought... 8)

You are (intentionally?) re-creating our semi-final win over Rhode Island, on the road to the 1984 National Championship.

Trey Lance = Tom(?) Erhardt
Konkol = Joey Roberts
Ifanse = Eric Miller (RIP)

don't know how many current BN'ers knew that ....?

Well, I've been predicting we roll in every game starting with Cat/griz. It's been working well, so I can't stop now.

Cats: 34
Western Minnesota: 10

Blow out.

Cats 41-3.

Only about 1/3 of the dejected fans return to the dome after halftime, the rest having gone home to cry after giving up on their team. We play the 4th quarter with our 2nd and 3rd stringers in order to stay healthy for Frisco.

And yes...I'm sober. A bit of a dreamer mind you, but sober. :D

19-17 Cats
Game is tied with 1 min left, Padmos has just pinned NDSU behind the 5 yard line. First play of the series Chase Benson mauls the left guard and Center pushes lance into the waiting arms of Derek Marks in the endzone. MSU recovers the onsides attempt and goes into victory formation.
