I have seen several comments saying the Cats will need to play mistake free to have a chance.

But I think NDSU is going to make several mistakes and the Cat's will take advantage of those.

MSU - 24
NDSU - 17

Halftime score will be 14 - 14

I hate it when people (no one in particular, just in general) say that. Hopefully the team doesn't believe they need to play "perfect" in order to win this game. Focusing too much on playing perfect, I think, usually causes you to play tight. I think we have to play a very good game, same as NDSU, and whoever makes more mistakes will probably lose. I think MSU will force NDSU into more mistakes than vice versa.

MSU will also intercept their freshman QB, mark it down.

17-14 MSU.

Overly specific prediction: Bailey hits a 52 yard walk off.

In the current win streak the Bobcats have confused 3 senior all conference (Sneed, Maier, Craig) and a freshman who finished 2nd in the Jerry Rice QB's to the tune 6 INT's and 16 sacks in 4 games. If he doesn't throw a INT it's because he is thinking about his record and limiting his offense.

My prediction: Bobcats will not play perfect. Bobcats will win. Bobcats will get at least 4 sacks, 3 TDs in the first half, 2 interceptions, 1 blocked punt, and a berth in the championship game.

This quote has been attributed to both Vince Lombardi and Bart Starr. Maybe Vince said it first and Bart repeated it - don't know. "Perfection is impossible, excellence is not." I want the 'Cats to achieve excellence. It's also been said that "Perfection is the enemy of good (or maybe great)."

Last two games I've predicted 48-14, so that's my story and I'm sticking to it. 48-14 'Cats.

Can't make up my mind as to which is better - 55-21 or 48-14.

All due respect to the Bizon, they have been the model that any school would like to emulate as far as the success of a program.
In my opinion, Choate has put together a staff, team, program that will endure. Is it there yet, I don’t know.
I think this defense is for real! I think this offense can grind it out with anyone! I think if Miller can keep the play calling rolling and keep from taking off a couple of series in the 2nd quarter they will be damn tough to beat.

Cats-28
Bizon-17

My hot take prediction of the game: If Trey Lance doesn't throw a pick, the Bizon lose the game. He's been playing so conservative lately, he puts the ball where no one can catch it if there's tight coverage. If the NDSU fans haven't told you enough, Lance doesn't have a pick on the year. I feel (and several NDSU fans on twitter feel the same) that he might be playing safe because he's afraid to lose that and it's messing with his psyche as a young man on a big stage. I actually remember hearing a former NFL QB talking on 710 ESPN Seattle (can't remember who though) about his time during a losing streak, his coach told him he wasn't throwing enough picks and needed to air it out and stop worrying so much. He said that really helped him settle in.

After watching the last couple games, Trey reeeeally needs to settle down. Oh my lord, and our Cats play so aggressive in coverage that he's gonna have an awful day if he plays it as safe as he has been. If we take away the passing option, the Bison will go to what they did last game, running it up the gut. Which didn't really work for them, but it'll work even less vs the Cats' stout line.

My prediction: Relatively wide bell curve centered around us losing by a field goal. I'll give us a 40% chance to win, which sounds pessimistic but after the lows of this season I'll feast on 40% chance for the NCG ALL DAY MAN!! GO CATS GO!!! WE HAVE ALL OF THE VIM.

If we can play within ourselves. No turnovers and no self inflicted drive killers, we should be right there at the end.

17-14 CATS.
