Chase Sukut

Post by rollo_tumasi » Mon Jan 09, 2006 12:11 pm

I heard this weekend that Chase Sukut, former stand out at Billings West, and current player at Sheridan College, is going to sign with Wisconsin-Green Bay. Did we even try to recruit him or do we have too many guards for next year?

I swear, it's like I'm playin' cards with my brother's kids or somethin'. You nerve-wrackin' sons-a-bitches.'

I had heard Wis-GB was really high on Sukut and that he took a trip in late December. I think at the time we were pretty stocked with Point guards. Durham, Holmes, Wilson and recruit Davis. I am pretty sure we were not in the market for point Guards, now ........ maybe. It is great to see him doing well, though.

Sukut was an excellent player for West. He holds many records at West and he was a great kid to watch play. I was surprised no one went after him in-state when he graduated, but I wish him the best and I hope he does well.

Chase was a great shooter in high school, but lacked size and some other D1 tools. From what I hear he has improved his all-around game at Sheridan thus resulting in his attention from a school in a good basketball conference. Very similar to what Brett Taylor needs to do for a D1 schollie.

I agree. Brett Taylor is an excellent athlete. I feel bad for him because of his size, but i think he will prosper inthe future.
