My yearly duty to ruffle the feathers of some of you. Any chances we will see some new alternates this year? We can always hope for an 84 throwback.
But there is an M and an E.Bobcatsinmso wrote: ↑Thu Aug 08, 2019 1:35 pmThere is no "I" in team. Leave the names to the self infatuated gizz program.
Couple that with Leon’s response on twitter - you might be right!BleedingBLue wrote: ↑Thu Aug 08, 2019 2:05 pmThe way Alleyne was talking in the R@R podcast it sounds like the 84 throwbacks could be coming back this year.
I’ve personally never been a big fan of the M on the helmets. It’s better now that they re-styled the M, but I’ve always felt like it was a little generic. A ton of teams have M’s on their helmet.
I can certainly live with the cats script and I agree that a couple options are good. However, I always think dark pants with a light jersy looks best. I hate all one color or all black. Also, a stripe on the pants always looks sharp.Catsrgrood wrote: ↑Thu Aug 08, 2019 2:23 pmI’ve personally never been a big fan of the M on the helmets. I’ve always been a fan of the actual Cat logo.
I really liked the blue helmets from a few years back with the exception of the white numbers on the one side. I’d like that helmet with the logo on both sides.
I do like when they have a few options though. Cat logo, Cats script and the M all in the mix, with the Cat logo being the main helmet.
Just my .02
Agreed, it’s all a matter of personal preference for sure.seataccat wrote: ↑Thu Aug 08, 2019 3:40 pmI can certainly live with the cats script and I agree that a couple options are good. Throwbacks to 76!Common Cat wrote: ↑Sat Aug 10, 2019 11:46 amI really liked our grey alternates. We’ve used that combo sparingly though. Every year they should keep a twist like that to mix it up. I’m really hoping for the throwbacks this year.
Is there any documentation of guys standing on the sidelines reading each other’s names and not paying attention to the game? Or are you repeating coach speak just because?Bobcatsinmso wrote: ↑Thu Aug 08, 2019 1:35 pmThere is no "I" in team. Leave the names to the self infatuated gizz program.
Agreed! With there being so many states that begin with 'M', it doesn't do much for us in terms of brand recognition.Catsrgrood wrote: ↑Thu Aug 08, 2019 2:23 pmI’ve personally never been a big fan of the M on the helmets.
