Re: Stadium East side

I’m very happy that these are finally being painted and will look much, much nicer. And while I agree it may not be a dire need to replace the east side right this minute, especially with how much nicer this will look, I would be incredibly disappointed if this is all they did every 10 years or so.CARDIAC_CATS wrote: ↑Sat Jul 27, 2019 11:28 amThat looks very nice! It will be interesting how well it wears going forward, but that was a much needed improvement for sure. If they can get 10+ years on that new paint they may not need to replace the East side stands. Just touch it up along with the turf every 10-12 years or so.
Perhaps the stands themselves don't need to be totally replaced, but everything underneath needs serious upgrades. The men's bathrooms have 1 hand dryer and 3 sinks, each sink with just 1 water knob that pours cold water and must be held open with one hand.CARDIAC_CATS wrote: ↑Sat Jul 27, 2019 11:28 amThat looks very nice! I just thought you were the "official" update photographer for renovations.

Yeah that is a very good point. I guess the painting will buy some time until they can do the Phase 3, but you are right they really need to upgrade the bathrooms and concessions on that side as well. I'm just happy they finally got the stands painted! Man that was an eyesore. I'm surprised it wasn't violating some type of Bozeman city viewshed ordinance91catAlum wrote: ↑Sun Jul 28, 2019 6:04 pmPerhaps the stands themselves don't need to be totally replaced, but everything underneath needs serious upgrades. no kidding, it was bad. Gonna look great now, I like the dark blue colored stairs with the white.CARDIAC_CATS wrote: ↑Mon Jul 29, 2019 8:51 amYeah that is a very good point. My understanding is that they did what they did in about a day. There are almost 40 days until the first home game. I’m sure they’ll be just fine.
