Rumors on Van Diest?

Post by thuss » Thu Dec 22, 2005 3:35 pm

Please don't tell me he is gonna continue to work for minimum wage at CC (NAIA) when he could be successful at a higher level and better paying program.

It is obvious that he does not even have to have the best players to win. St. Francis was loaded with talent and couldn't even make it a ball game last week.

That game looked like Cat-Griz 05' OUCH!!

I heard he's going to the Griz as their new offensive cordinator.

No, the shovel pass is such a complex play that I think there are only a few select coaches in the world that understand how it works. Hauck not being one of them as you could tell @ CAT-jiz 05'

Yes, but he's changing the name to Shuttle Pass. Much more effective.

Actually the play is referred to as: shuffle, shuttle, or shovel. However, you would be the most experienced with it considering you follow the griz so I will go with what you want to call it.

How about scuffle pass?

Back on Van Diest....
I live in Helena and haven't heard a thing. I agree, he needs to move up. And I think he's proven himself enough to move up past Division II, right up to Division I. If he does, I hope he doesn't go to a school outside of Montana, in the Big Sky. Could be trouble for us all.

Has Northern Colorado hired someone yet? He'd be perfect for them.
