Toby would have been a great player here if he was given more of a chance. When the coaching staff talks about bringing in up to 7 transfer WRs, any WR on the roster just might feel like he's not really a part of the team. It's too bad. I think he would have been a good one here. Best of luck to him at Rocky.

I think Kramer makes it extremely difficult to earn a spot as a HS recruit at WR here. When is the last time we had a starting WR that was recruitd out of HS make any impact?

Maybe that speaks volumes about our ability to recruit good WRs, if we are constantly having to bring in transfers.

Turnquist (though I think he may have been recruited by Hysell). Roosevelt for the first part of last year.

It sounds like Mike Brown and Derrick Green will be getting some good looks this year. I think Tyler Lulay, Matt Crane, and Mikey Van Gordon all have some potential to step in and make an impact.

Has anyone heard anything about Nolan Lee. Didn't he also transfer from Hawaii?

Nolan Lee left the team last fall 3-4 weeks after fall camp began. We haven't had a player recruited by Kramer as a receiver, actually stay and graduate with a scholarship still in hand, nor actually contribute that much. Makes one wonder, as a receiver out of high school, why commit to us when Kramer seems more content to go after IA drop downs that aren't fitting in with their current team? About Turnquist, The big guy said he wouldn't have recruited him. Too bad you can't measure heart like a 40 time.
