"Cats shooting 40%, UW not much better. So far Beye and Miller suck, if they won the lottery they couldn't buy a basket..

Half time:

Wyoming 19-0 run- 44-28.

Normal officiating  'Cats 5/6 from the line
Cowboys 11/20

'Cats big guys in foul trouble already, & can't buy a basket. Beye 0-6 & Miller 0-4.

Took a break- now 53-39 with 14:30 to go- sounds like the officials are trying to even up a bit.

'Cats coming back- 56-48 with 10:16 left.

What's happening

3:26 to go- 71-62 Cowboys. I think Atterbury is fairly accurate in his game calling and he's convinced that the refs in this one are worse than the BSC refs (imagine that).

1:43 to go- 73-67 Wy

Final 80-67 Wy. Not a typical 3-point shootout by the 'Cats- really tried to feed the inside, but they couldn't do it.

Waiting for the stats.

I've found a way to ease my Bobcat basketball frustrations. I don't listen to the road games. There a few sure things in athletics, but a Bobcat road loss is one of the most sure things there is.

I could probably lower my blood pressure a few points by taking your advice!

Those three road wins last year at the beginning of the conference season were before they found out they were the Bobcats!

Here's the stats: http://sports.yahoo.com/ncaab/boxscore?gid=200512170661

Al was 1-10 from the field! Brandon Miller was 3-12. How's that for an inside-outside attack? Why is Al an offensive option at all? They should use him the way the Jazz used to use Mark Eaton. Stand near the top of key and crash the boards when a shot goes up. Let Moss post up down low. No way should Al be taking 10 shots against big teams like Wyoming. That's not going to work.

We got outrebounded by almost 2-1! Not going to win many that way. Maybe we should recruit some more 6' tall shooting guards so we can shore that up.

Unfortunately, I can't not listen to a 'Cats game (which probably raises my blood pressure, and I'm probably one of the older posters on BN. But I continue to believe.
Go Cats!

I'm with you on that one. I don't know how in the hell the Bobcats expect to win with contributions like that from key players. I didn't hear that Dissly did much either. We need either Dissly or Moss going to have a chance to win. Moss didn't even get a chance to play his game. Nice game by Jefferson, though. Carson Durr and Casey Durham made some positive contributions. My biggest question was about those officials. Why is an official who was suspended for costing a team a game still have a job? And are the Cats really that dirty that they out-foul Wyoming so badly? And how many fouls did they miss? :bs: to the officials. Another gripe that I have is the apparent lack of class by Wyoming's players. But we need to play a lot better fast and the upcoming homestand will help big time.
