Hawaii QB Jack Rolovich

Since it appears that Swogger is going elsewhere, has anyone heard anything new regarding the possibility that Jack Rolovich will transfer to MSU? One advantage he would have over Swogger is that I think he has at least two years of elgibility left.

I am not trying to downplay Rolovich, but the guy might not be that good. He was not invited to Fall camp, and was clearly passed by at least 3 other players.

Rolovich receives release from UH

University of Hawaii quarterback Jack Rolovich has requested and received his release from his University of Hawaii football scholarship.
Rolovich, a third-year sophomore, was competing for the starting job during spring practice. But he was not invited for the start of training camp in August and has not played a down this season. Colt Brennan and Tyler Graunke are UH's top two quarterbacks.

Rolovich is the younger brother of former UH quarterback Nick, who played in the 2000-01 seasons and is now a student assistant.

The release enables Jack Rolovich to transfer to another school and receive financial aid immediately.

The article describes him as a third year sophomore. Since he was not invited to fall camp, would he have an extra year of elgibility remaining? As in three years, not two, because he was not on the Hawaii team this fall?

Incorrect, he joined the team after school started, and was still on scholarship for this season.
