I was told by someone today that a kid being recruited out of Kalispell was told by Coach K that he had applied for the SDSU job. No idea if true, its third hand. Interesting, maybe the rumor was twisted and it was BH that was talking to the kid. Impossibe to know. Anyone else have any info on this

I highly doubt that he applied for the SDSU job.

If I were him I'd apply-getting paid football coach money in San Diego? That would be a great gig. He won't get the job-and I'm sure he knows it. He doesn't have the record or pedigree-yet.

Why would he tell someone he is trying to recruit to one university, that he is applying for a coaching job at another university. Not exactly a sure fire way to get an athlete to sign with your program.

We won't have to worry about that. With a less than 50% winning record at MSU and the number of assistant coaching problems he has faced he will be in Bozeman for a long long time.

How could Kramer have applied for the SDSU job when the SDSU coach hasn't even been fired yet? That can't be right, and even if it is there's no way he gets the job.

What's with your lame attitude. 99% of the crap on this and every other board is rumor. I got this from a reasonable source, BUT AS STATED MORON, it was third hand. The post was to see if anyone else has heard anything similar or pointing out the fact that the info may have been twisted and it was possibly BH (hence all the rumors on egriz).

If you don't want to engage in an exchange of information based on rumor, which is essentially what happens on this board I suggest you find something else to do with your time. I can do without you personal attack. I didn't start the rumor, I passed it on SO GO F*CK YOURSELF

I myself hope it is a rumor and don't give it much validity. First off, what kid is being recruited in Kalispell. However, the "source" is close to the Kalispell program which is why I "raised it" for discussion.

As far as either Coach K or BH "applying", it is possible (BH if you believe the Egriz posts). Just because SDSU hasn't fired their coach, doesn't necessarily mean they aren't looking. Remember, Coach Patrino was sitting on a run way with people from Auburn before AU "fired" coach Tuberville (which they ultimately never did and then rewarded him with a contract extension).

i think it became personal when gokats called him an idiot. he stated plain as day that it was a rumor, and asked if anyone heard the same? while i agree with the rest of you that i really doubt it happened, the dude didn't say it happened! he heard it, and asked a question. in gokats defense, it's thursday night in bozeman, so he's probably wasted! we've all been there.

Actually, I heard that after this last State Championship for Billings West, its Paul Klaboe that is going to get the SDSU job.

I didn't know South Dakota State was in the market for a new coach.

Belgrade Bobcat is right. At the very worst, Coach K would DOUBLE his paycheck at SDSU and San Diego isn't too bad of living especially December thru March. Great golfing & salt water fishing. Oh, did I mention beaches? I wonder if he would recruit Californians there
