Look out for PSU...
Watched them vs #6 Gonzaga and they looked very good. They have the total package with height and super quick guards. They gave Gonzaga all they could handle...

How about your EWU Eagles knocking off Idaho in decisive fashion? Those Idaho fans are so arrogant and condescending towards the Big Sky-yet they keep losing to our schools. Ya gotta love it!

Idaho squeaked by Carroll. No biggie for EWU IMO.BelgradeBobcat wrote:How about your EWU Eagles knocking off Idaho in decisive fashion? Those Idaho fans are so arrogant and condescending towards the Big Sky-yet the keep losing to our schools. Ya gotta love it!
By the way, Cats will beat EWU in Bozeman, lose by 15 in Cheney.

I thought the same thing. This was a very close game throughout and Gonzaga is pretty damn good. Who was it that played Iowa State recently pretty well?Obzerver wrote:Watched them vs #6 Gonzaga and they looked very good. They have the total package with height and super quick guards. One of Sac State's players got suspended one game for fighting. I didn't know that you could get suspended for an entire season if it happens twice. Is this with all Big Sky sports, or just basketball?

Suspension - Dec. 1
Big Sky Conference Commissioner Doug Fullerton has publicly reprimanded and suspended Sacramento State men’s basketball player Justin Williams.
Williams, a guard/forward from Corona, Calif., was ejected for fighting with 5:47 to play in the second half of Sacramento State’s 72-67 victory over UC Davis on Wednesday, Nov. 30.
Per NCAA rules, Williams will be suspended for Sacramento State’s next game on Saturday, Dec. 3, against Utah Valley State. If Williams is ejected for fighting again this season, he will be suspended for the remainder of the season.
Williams, a sophomore, has appeared in all six games this season. He is averaging 3.0 points and 2.7 rebounds per game.

I think everybody but NAU and ISU may be better than we thought. This conference may not be so weak after all. Let's hope that the Bobcats know that they have to play at a very high level against good teams to win the Big Sky this year.
GO CATS!

Let's see you got blown out by a Boise St. Bronco team that got beat by Weber. Yeah, your good.Swilly3224 wrote:Id watch out for the Grizzlies from missoula....they are good

Bobcats have definitely been the biggest disappointment, and I think PSU has turned the most heads for being competitive in games.

When Stanford played Irvine All conference Senior 6' 11" Haryarz was out with an ankle injury. Seniors Grunfeld and Haryarz played well in Missoula. Senior Hernandez is tough but was well guarded most of the time and forced a little bit. Stanford will represent themselves quite well in their conference. Only weakness Stanford showed was going 10-21 from the line after coming in shooting 77%.doebrmn wrote:I wouldn't get too excited about the Griz beating Stanford. I think ISU may turn into the class of the conference this year. i have been impressed with them. It's still early, but it doesn't look like there is a gimme in the BSC this year.bozbobcat wrote:I think everybody but NAU and ISU may be better than we thought. I think I said that before ISU beat BSU. I haven't heard much of anything about NAU, but there will be at least seven solid teams this year. No gimme games-playing at NAU is hard enough. I think the BSC will break down in the following order.grizbeer wrote:I think ISU may turn into the class of the conference this year. i have been impressed with them. 1. MSU
2. UM
3. Sac
4. WSU
5. PSU
6. ISU
7. EWU
8. NAU
1, 2, and 3 will be extremely close, but I think MSU will get it as they pick up steam. UM is a formidable opponent and could very easily get #1.

Well, the way we're are playing right now, I don't see us winning half our conference games. Undisciplined ball is what the cats are playing right now. They better step it up, because this conference sounds and looks more competitive than it sounded at the beginning of the season. Someone needs to light a fire under these kids @$$3$, because they have none right now. With our level of talent, we should not be making these games close. We should be dominating. Very disappointed with the effort so far this season.

Eric Curry STILL makes me sad.

I wouldn't worry about MSU's early season games, and you can pretty much throw out everything that happens in the TOW. Mick is a good coach, and he will get your boys together before the conference starts and MSU will be right there, slugging it out with 6 or 7 other teams.grizzh8r wrote:Well, the way we're are playing right now, I don't see us winning half our conference games.
