I see Coach Durham reinstated Miller....what are other reactions about this? He seems to be a cancer on the team and we have tons of guards.

The article in the Chronicle mentioned some type of family problem(s) back home. Since they did not elaborate it is hard to say but if it is a relative with a serious health issue then we need to cut him some slack and see how everything turns out.

From the article it is evident that he was placing real life issues ahead of basketball.
That's fair.
I appreciate that about him as well as Mick setting him until it cleared.
On we go........let's rip Colorado this weekend!

I had heard a month ago Miller was having some seriuos personal / family issues back in Wisconson that were effecting his school and basketball practice schedule. I am told he got things worked out a few weeks back. The tension between Durham and Miller came up when Miller wanted to jump right back into basketball and the starting line up. Durham (again all rumor) wanted him to come back slower, and work himself back into the rotation, plus make sure he was on track school wise and make sure there were no problems acidemically (Miller was gone from school for a period of time). Given the fact we do not have an "intersession" between semesters not a bad idea.
BTW Can anyone explain to how Mike Chavez regained his basketball elligiblity MID-SEMESTER at UM. Is it even possible to loose your elligiblity at UM for a period of over 3 weeks?

Coach Durham was on the Sports Nuts today, but I missed the show. Did he if have any news about the team or Brandon Miller?

Aren't the eligibility guidelines set by the NCAA & not each indvidual school. I thought Chavez was inelegible all the back to last year?

Yes. He finished courses in which he had incompletes. From the Missoulian a few weeks ago: Krystkowiak said that Chavez regained his eligibility this week by completing make-up work.

Chavez is eligible, I was surprised to find out he was, but he is.
It's amazing to see people actually root against kids and NEED to know how or why they are eligible.

God love that academic institute for higher learning! And to think, Mike did all this without having to use the intersession.

I wonder how anyone thought up those kooky t-shirts for Cat-Griz weekend? What did they say, "you cant spell dUMb without..." how did it end?
BRILLIANT!!!

Montana won despite getting just six points from all-conference forward Kamarr Davis, who played just 22 minutes because of foul trouble.
Quote taked directly from the Big Sky Conference Web site, so though entertaining you "AWSOME" burn was pretty "WEAK".
Keep trying though, good effort, I just hope your cheerleader Topher doesn't get discouraged.
