Cats sack Griz

BOZEMAN - Travis Lulay received the final snap of his illustrious career and took a knee. It was a simple, anticlimactic ending, but for Lulay and his Montana State teammates, it meant everything.

Okay, am I getting this right? It does not matter that the Cat's are not in the playoffs. Cats really couldn't give a hoot about winning the BSC. Winning all home games was but a delightful bonus. BUT beating the lowly/awesome sh*tty/great UM Grizzlies was "EVERYTHING." Considering the goal post tear-down, that must be true at least for the fans. Nothing matters but beating the Griz.

So, if this is what the Cats really care about, then why, really why, put your players at risk of injury playing A-1 teams, why spend the money traveling to Portland, why even suit up until the last game in November? You'll come out fresh and healthy and you'll win, right? If that's really all that matters, put your priorities in order, and save yourselves the trouble of tusseling with the other trash in the BSC. Save your glory for beating the Griz.

Kramer set several goals for this team-beat the griz was one of them.

Ummmmm, did it say it was everything for the fans? It said for Travis and his teammates. Do you suppose with the possibility of playoffs not high going into the game that it was just important to end their careers as senior Bobcats with a win?

Quit being so bitter

gonzo,

Shove it.

You know damned well that the expectations of our football team, staff, and EVERYONE on this board were much higher than simply beating a mediocre Griz team.

Yet you twist a sportswriters words and use the actions of a bunch of drunk college students in a weak attempt to insult us the day after we dismantled your team. Nice try, now go on home, smoke a bowl, and figure out how you're going to respond to Cal Poly's win over the Griz next Saturday...
