Strange Encounter in Bar after Game

I was in a Plonk with my wife last evening well after the game and I had my MSU Booster jacket on. This guy seemed to come out of nowhere and started asking me questions about Hauck and coach Kramer. I asked him where he was from and he said Kansas. He was very vague when I asked him what he what he was doing here said he had some properties or something and then changed the subject very quickly. He asked my pinion about Hauck. When I told him I have not been impressed with him he came back at me with a lot of knowldege about him. He then asked me in detail about coach Kramer. It was really obvious he knew a great deal about both and was asking some very probing questions. In fact, my wife picked up on it too. After we left him my wife and me both said wow that was kind of strange. I know Kansas State is in the market for a new coach. I am wondering if he was here looking at Hauck and even Kramer as possible candidates. It was all kind of bizzare!

Are you serious? "Ladies and Gentlemen of the press, Kansas State University is pleased to announce our new head football coach <insert name here>, who was given high marks by a guy in a bar in Bozeman, MT so he must be good".
Hell, I know a lot about both of these coaches!

Never intended to imply this guy was listening to me, but it was obvious he had spent some time researching these coaches by the facts he had. Why would a guy from Kansas that doesn't even live here and no connection with either school know so much? He knew about both in great detail! Don't know what to make of it, other than it was unusual.

I happen to know someone who is living in Kansas and was in attendance at the game on Saturday. He is extremely knowledgable about both teams. I know that he (my friend) was not looking for a new head coach, but hey maybe there were quite a few people up from Kansas for the game.
After all, "there's no place like home, there's no place like home, there's no place like home!!"
Not in Kansas anymore
