5. Montana (get to host)
6. Cal Poly

7. Texas State (number 4 seed)
8. Georgia Southern

9. Hampton (number 3 seed)
10. Richmond

11. Furman
12. Nicholls State

Lafayette finished tied w/Colgate but the Raiders got the auto bid. YSU has to be shocked right now.

Come on Cats, let us borrow your offense just for this one game against Cal Poly. If we could keep the offense that beat Cal Poly earlier, we would have a chance, but now, it looks like a hard game to win.

I can think of 2 teams that would be better in that spot than Lafayette. YSU and MSU. Oh well, we still beat the Griz, who drew Cal Poly.

I have to say that I still think that Cal Poly and Eastern Washington will both have very good shots at making it deep in the playoffs. The Griz will need to find an offense, and quick because Cal Poly's D is much better than the Cats' was this year. I wish the Griz luck, but I don't think they will win. If they do, it will be because they are a better team than I think they are, to beat a very stout team like Cal Poly twice in a year would be impressive.

Again, good luck to the Griz and the Eagles.

Unfortunately, I will have to change my signature now. My hat is off to you Travis. Good luck with whatever you choose to do, I think you have a good shot to play somewhere next year. Here is one last Hip-hip-Lulay.

You and most of us, too.

Just a quick note from the other Bobcat Nation down south. It is because of you guys that Texas State got the number four seed so thanks. Just remember if you want another set of Bobcats to root for jump on the Texas State bandwagon this year. By the way if both the Griz and Cats make it through the first round then the Griz could come here to Texas. But both have to win first so I am not going to look ahead, Georgia Southern will be tough.

Go Cats

beamout2000- Hey man, good luck to you guys. I don't think that you will have to worry about the Griz though. I think that they even know that with how they are playing right now they don't stand a chance. Lets all cheer for Poly and the Eagles. MSU should have made it based on the strength of our schedule alone.

This is BS!!!! Look at their GPI last week. 39.67--48th place. Sure they moved up by beating Lehigh but this is pathetic. This is an aweful pick even though they were 8-3. There will have to be some explaination for this terrible pick. I agree, YSU has to be shell shocked like Cal Poly was last year.

I'm rooting for Meyer and the Eagles. Cal Poly by 20 over the Griz next week.

I agree, YSU, MSU, or even McNeese St. would all have been better teams to put in the playoffs than Lafayette.

To tell you the truth I was hoping you guys would make it and play us, a Bobcats vs Bobcats game would have been fun.

Would Lulay consider playing for the Griz this weekend?

Only if you switch us stadiums for the next few years.

and Dougherty said that there wouldn't be any bias toward Louisiana. Laf is a laugher and Youngstown shoulda been in.

I don't know why anyone would think that Poly stands a chance in Missoula next weekend. Cold weather and kids who are used to palm trees don't mix.

I think Poly learned from the first game and will play a lot better against the Griz. The weather looks to be decent for Turkeyday weekend over there. THe Griz offense is going down hill. I watched the Griz/Sac State game and and that gave me the confidence that the Cats would win.

What I want to know is: OK EWU wins the conference at large bid and deserved to. Both the Cats and Griz end up with the conference record same record. We beat the Griz, so wouldn't that put us ahead of them in the playoff picks? I think their ranking was too high. Maybe the voters just said they are the Griz and since they are they deserve a high rank?
