Left the game a tad early, and got the chance to listen to your radio sports announcers. Impressive.

Our radio guys do, do a good job. (That sounds funny do do) Thank you for the observation. I think that you should mention that to whoever is giving awards to Holein and dipstick (Gurnsey). Our guys have class. Not so sure about the guys that do the um games though.

Ok, I think they both have class. Obviously they each design their productions around their own audiences, and each deserve credit.

Yours, I think, are more technical, which is nice. Wish we had both.

Atteberry gets excited AWFULLY quick, but he's the best replacement MSU could've ever found after Dean Alexander left. Davies and Atteberry work well together and listening to the Cats is a good time. :D

I heard a rumor that 'Ol Kris may be getting a job with a MLB team this next season. I know he does an excellent job with both the 'Cats and the St Paul Saints independant team...

All through my life I've had the pleasure of listening to some great broadcasters... As a little 'Cat fan, Dean Alexander's voice was almost as familiar as my own father's. The other team I'm fanatical about is the Oakland A's and anyone who knows who Bill King was can attest to how great he was before he passed away a few weeks ago.

Hmm... maybe Kris will return to the Bay Area and call A's games next year!!! And if he can't find the time for the 'Cats anymore, perhaps Deano could come back...

Okay, I'm getting waaaaay ahead of myself here, but that happens a lot.

*Edited to show proper respect to KRIS Adaberrie

Okay, I definitely think you're getting way ahead of yourself. I really don't think Dean will come back and call games for the games (unless it's some kind of special occasion). I agree that Kris and Dan are wonderful broadcasters, and work really well together. I wish Kris the best of luck if he chooses to pursue another avenue in a higher league.

("K-R-I-S") is the proper way of spelling his name!

 Just an FYI!!

My bad... Kris...

My radio doesn't impose the announcers name under his voice when I listen, so I just assumed he went with the masculine spelling.

Wouldn't it bother you if your name was spelled incorrectly? I'm just being respectful and giving you all the heads up on the spelling of his first name. SHEESH!

MSU has very solid announcers. Kris Attebury is solid as a play-by-play man. I hope he doesn't leave quite yet. He was the best possible replacement for Dean Alexander, who is still the voice of God here. Dan Davies is solid in his knowledge and not too flashy, and not annoying like some color commentators can be (not intended as smack). The Bobcat radio team is really a good one. I'm glad the Griz fans who listened to them appreciated their broadcast.

Hehe, my name is misspelled about 99% of the time... doesn't bother me a bit! :)

I didn't mean to sound pissy, I just really never see his name in print or on screen so it totally slipped my mind that he spelled it like that. I went back and edited my post so as not to offend anyone.

I would LOVE it if Alexander was back. When he retired, it was like a divorce or something. Some of us are still grieving. He has many years of excellent broadcasting left in him. [-o<

He was the color man for the Max Media TV broadcasts-so we can still get our fix of Dean.
