Why?

I know I'm new around here, and this isn't exactly an athletics post, so forgive me.

I really enjoy having somewhere to go chat (or listen) about the Bobcats. Everywhere else in this state is so slanted to the Griz I was excited to find a devoted Bobcat MB.

I don't go to the smack talk board because I don't really care to engage in that in cyber space, with my Griz friends and family I love it, but people I don't really know I see no need.

Yet for some reason, more times than not I log on here only to find the athetics threads hijacked with smack talk. For the life of me I cannot figure out why. I don't go the their site because I have nothing good to add about their team. Why post on a forum titled BOBCAT ATHLETICS if you are not going to post anything about BOBCAT ATHLETICS???

WE ADMIT, MOST OF THE STATE IS IN LOVE WITH YOUR TEAM. WE ADMIT THAT YOU TEAM HAS BEEN BETTER IN THE RECENT HISTORY THAN THE CATS.

WE DON'T CARE.

WE STILL LOVE OUT BOBCATS. AND WE WANT TO TALK ABOUT THEM WITHOUT HEARING ABOUT YOUR TEAM.

Good post, I am afraid you may get some grief from your last sentence, although I see your point. There will always be frizzlies with nothing else to do but butt in and cause trouble. We have to take the high road and ignore them, hoping they drop dead soon.

I was making a joke (quoting a funny movie) about the timing of how bobcatmaniac expects to come on here and not see any smack at the beginning of 'Cat-Griz week. But I quess its never funny when the joke has to be explained.

I thought the last comment might offend someone, but compared to the other crap I've read on here, it's pretty mild. And the point is too good to miss.

Sportin' Life you can smack talk all you want about the big game on the SMACK TALK BOARD!! I just don't want to have to read it on the BOBCAT ATHLETICS BOARD!

I don't have any problem stooping to your level, so yes, I am an a$$hole but only to jizz fans.

WOW! The entire reason this thread was started was to ask why all the thread get highjacked by smack talk. It is Cat/Griz week so I expect a lot of trash talking to happen, but if you are going to do it, keep it in the appropriate forum. This week any smack that is put up by Cat fans or Griz fans on any thread outside of the smack forum will be deleted.
