Yeah, this book has been out for a while. It's a really good book and it's a great tribute to both the Bobcats and the Grizzlies. It's a very worthwhile read. I've got a copy of my own.

ChiO...I see you're a Cat and an alumni Eagle. I would think someone from the Richland would have seen that book around in many places, whether it be in the MSU Bookstore or the Homestead in Sids. However, I've seen it everywhere and failed to buy it for our collection yet.

No, I'm actually not an Eagle Alum, I grew up NW MT. We moved back to MT 2 years ago, with three boys under 3. I haven't made it into Homestead due to my fear of mass destruction.

So are you married to a Sidney native or you just made it back there because of work or something? Just curious...I always like to network with people from the NE...In any case, it's good to know you have ties to the Cats!

ButteCat...I'm a Fairview native, graduated '01 there...We had the good ol' athletics program that had a love for mediocrity, no matter what sport...of course, that was because we had quite the drinking binge between our guys. You've got my clues now, so when were you a Cardinal? (Please tell me you were never a part of the Redhawks?! that's the new Med. Lake/Froid team, right?)

No, not part of the Froid Lake thing. I left that country right after high school when I graduated in '62. I still have a sister in Plentywood and a couple of nephews up there, but don't get back in that country much any more. Do you get any of the games up there on radio or TV? We've been at all the conference games this year, and we're leaving for Cheney in the morning.

I'm same as you...I live in Bozeman now but I get back to the NE corner of the state whenever I get a chance. As anyone growing up around there, hated it while I HAD to live there, want to get back whenever possible now that I don't live there.

Do you happen to know the Picards? I went to college with one of their sons.
Do you know Doug Espelien? I think he was about that class from Froid.

Not really. My husband grew up in Polson, I grew up in Eureka. We met at MSU, moved to IA for work. We moved to Sidney so he could work at Sidney Sugars and I could quit working for awhile. BUT, his parents were from Sidney and Fairview, so we do have some family. It was kind of like moving home for him. And his parents love to have a reason to come over and visit.
