So, if this "kind" of index is similar to what is used by the selection committee, how does any less then three teams from the BSC not make it to the playoffs.
In other words, which bears more weight: overall record or an index type rating?

If that's the case, then MSU moves even further up the ladder. Should they somehow end up hosting, they are a better draw than most teams. First, if they are 7-4, they go on the road anyway, so the $$ doesn't affect that. Second, with Lulay, who is well known in I-AA circles at QB, it sells tix at opposing houses.
