Groves most deserving

Post by FlatheadLakeCat » Mon Nov 07, 2005 1:55 pm

I know Meyer had great numbers, but Groves proved to be the difference down the stretch with 100+ yds rushing and 3 TD's for a WIN!!!!

Meyer lost

Who do you think deserves Big Sky Offensive Player of the Week?

According to the Sunday Notebook from MSU Sports Info, Groves was not even the Bobcat nominee for Offensive Player of the Week. Unless I misunderstand how it works, I don't think Groves was even up for it this week.

As great a game as Evan had, how on earth is Meyer not the player of the week?

Seriously, Groves might have been MSU's MVP on Saturday, but he didnt even compare to what Meyer did.

Well, if he runs for 150 against Eastern Washington and the Cats win, then maybe he'll get it. :)

GO CATS!

I guess I was posting with my heart. I should have done my research on other players in the BSC. Oh well, Groves is still my MVP for the week. Plus we have him for 3 more seasons and only Kramer knows what else is on the bench for RB's. I have heard there is some young depth riding the pine. Maybe Kramer is allready looking toward next year without Lulay and the Cats will be a running team next season. Maybe a D1 drop down as well?

GO GROVES!!!!!!!!!!!!

As long as our nominee had something to do with the running game!
