I liked the threads we had going for gameballs every week, we stopped for some reason.
Offense - Groves
Defense - King
Special Teams - Austin, even though he fumbled one, he has some moves.

King finally lived up to the hype yesterday; I hope he plays like that for 6 more games...

Right on! King looked sharp and I think that there could have been a possible co-game ball between King and Marudas. By the way, I think the gameballs segment is a great idea.

Unbelievable! King showed up bigtime...finally justified the hype! I take everything I said about him a few weeks ago back if he keeps playing like that!

Groves on offense, and King on the defense.
I think having Marudas and Daly, King and Mollohan playing like yesterday will be very potent against an EWU running game. Also that penetration is what is needed to disrupt Meyer and his pocket throwing.
Good Job Men

I'd also like to give props to our "O" line and "D" line.
"O" line figured something out yesterday after the first run play which was horrible blocking. There was an attitude there I hadn't seen yet this year.
"D" line having Kolone back was BIG. They stayed fresh the whole game. Earlier this year there was an article about big Lou and how laid back he is. Yesterday, he looked like he could jump out of his skin he was so pumped up.

The Oline has been good all year. We just finally called more then 10 run plays in a game, and gave a running back a chance to get it done. I think I have said before that Groves was going to be a good player...

I read somewhere over the weekend a quote from Bolton that said that they shifted up some blocking schemes, and did a little more pulling of O-Lineman and TE's than they had in the past. This is obviously making a difference.
I personally think that the O-Line deserved the game ball for the Sac State game. Great run blocking...great pass blocking. We are putting it all together.
