Eastern Washington is stung this weekend at Cal Poly by 3. That has got to cause them some interesting heartburn as they look at the Cats coming to town.
One of two things is going to happen:
1. They lose swagger and confidence and find themselves not as sharp against a rising Cat Team.
or
2. They still believe an outside short at the BSC is possible, or, at least a spoiler roll is their play. They come out mad and play for all the marbles.
What are you first reactions to their loss and what will their response be?

EWU is an enigma this year. They beat PSU & UM in convincing fashion, then they lose games they should win against ISU, Cal Poly, and Weber. It's almost impossible to guess which EWU team takes the field this Saturday.
EWU hasn't lost two games in a row this year, and with two wins they've got an extreme outside shot at making the playoffs.
I say the O will be clicking but the D will play much like they have as well. This game should be a shootout. EWU lost today getting beat on the ground, if the Cats can duplicate their running preformance, I say the Cats win next weekend.

I beg to differ with you Re/Max Griz, but I will. Cal Poly is not a team EWU should have beat. They certainly could have, but not should have. Poly, like the Griz, are a better team at home. Poly hung 529 yards and six TDs on EWU.
Good luck to both the Bobcats and the Griz the rest of the season. Maybe we will see one of you on Thanksgiving weekend.

Yeah, what's THAT about. It seems like they have had a defense that has relied on the offense to win games. We can take advantage of that, but I wonder if EWU can get stung by a defensive stand and a quick score and begin to panic?
You saw them play... what do you think?

The griz wouldn't know how much better Cal Poly is at home, they just cancel the game until they can get them to come up to Missoula.

I sense a little jealousy in this post. Wouldn't it be great to have a facility -- and let's not forget 24,000 fans to fill it -- in Bozo that would make it profitable for MSU to do that?
I think EWU will be fired up. They now know there only chance at the playoffs is to get the auto bid. To do that, they've got to beat MSU. But they have been a tough team to figure this year. Certainly it's a team who doesn't seem to handle prosperity well. As fam as I'm concerned, I hope the Cats take them out. Might as well make the Brawl a winner take all.
