Michael Bass is expected to start today after rushing for less than a yard per carry in his return to the lineup against Northern Arizona. The senior hurt his knee on Sept. 24 in the North Dakota State game.

Personally I would like to see Groves get the ball about 10 times or so. That's usually when an RB really starts to find his stride.

I'd second Groves being the starter. He is the future and against a team like Sac State this should be the time to give him a heavy look. Bass and JD just aren't getting it done, especially Bass. He's fast as hell, but sometimes, that gets him into troubles as the yard line will trip him on cuts.
