What is the score going to be?? OR The PERFECT SATURDAY

I didn't see this posted yet, but if it was i am sorry. I have been out of the loop for the past 10 days. But I feel that the boyz are going to be fired up after the debaucle last year. I know they have heard the haven't won in Novemnber thing enough... and would like to stop hearing it everyday in practice.

With the return of or guys on defense, and what I watched last night on the tape of lst weeks game, I am thinking the defense gets things rolling soon and it is 14-0 at the end of the 1st quarter. One big Highlight is when Travis passes DD in career total offense, the crowd gives an appreciative standing O and the game is put on hold for 5 minutes because of the crowd cheering. In the second quarter more of the same as the defense gets 2 turnovers 1 fumble with the new running back and an errant pass by the new QB is returned to the house. just before half the hornets make a drive and attempt the 37 yard FG with time running out. But it goes wide left. Halftime score 31-0.

Everyone heads to the tailgates in a great mood and fun is had by all (some have to much fun lol). Then the second half kick half is returned by the bobcats. There is a mad rush from the tailgates to the fence to see the replay, and then the argument, between do I go back in, or stay out and party insues in some folks brains. The stands end up about 3/4 full half way through the 3rd quarter.

The bobcats start subbing quite a little bit and Groves takes off on a draw and pops it to the outside and runs 66 yards for a touchdown. Lulay is pulled after the first drive of the second half, he finishes with 387 yards passing and 72 yards rushing. The hornets start taking cheap shots in frustration and the field is littered with yellow. End of the 3rd quarter 41-0.

At the beginning of the 4th quarter people start saying teh "S" word (shutout), and thinking that it would really help the defenses confidence to hold them. and this is probably what is keeping 50% of the fans in their seats by this time. FINAL SCORE.....

51-00 BOBCATS WIN

Now I have to go find a Genie to read this to. LOL

I know I know I should write fiction.

Just something to do during lunch. Have fun with it.

Works for me! It will be special watching Lulay pass Dave Dickenson this weekend. One legend passing another. The crowd will be pumped this weeekend. PAYBACK from last year. We'll see if there is any pounding on the locker room doors this year. The only pounding going on is going to be in the bodies of the Sac State players (OH MY HEAD HURTS).

BE THERE ... BE LOUD (Only 2 regular season Lulay games left! )

I'm probably hopeful and a bit optimistic that this weekend the 'Cats put in a full effort in the first half and the beginning of the second half in order to play some 2&3 deep guys. Obviously the "W" is the main goal this weekend. But, I do hope to see some of our other players with a chance to play.

Bobcats 38, SSU 17 (ten points scored off of replacements)

Man or man do I want to be there... I think this one the Bobcats are primed for... after last year there will not be ANY looking past the Hornets... Bobcats D will play much, much better. Lulay will have another big day but surprise will be the success of Groves and Bass. It is time... as I said on a previous post... win big and we are in fighting mood for the final two big games of which we will win one or both... win small and come from behind... trouble looms on the horizon. Bobcats... 40-14

Well, Sac St. really hasn't been that good and they are coming into the cold weather in Montana. For some reason, I originally thought Cats 38, Sac St. 24. But I like catsrback's prediction a little better. But I'll revise mine so it more accurately reflects a fired up Bobcat team's efforts. And it's too cold for those Californians.

Cats 34
Hornets 14

2-0. Bobcats win. I don't care what the score is. I hope we smoke SSU, but we all know what happens when we "should" beat somebody. If what I heard is right about only running 10 times, Lulay should be able to cruise past Davey Dicks numbers, although I am sure he won't move ahead of Nussmeier (613 yards)this week, he should be able to set himself up to pass J. Martin by the end of the year. He needs to average 291 totatl yards per game to become the all-time career yardage leader.

But the most important thing, is that we win. Maybe all three running backs could gain over 100 each this weekend. lol

I'll go with the flow.

Cats actually build a big lead by 3rd quarter. Subs get some good PT. We will be able to run the ball in the second half (after lead is established). Cats win 49-10. Couple of late scores by Sac.

GO CATS

Kramer and the Cats will continue to do what they have been doing with the offense. And that is not showing everything just yet. Saving the really good plays for our final two games. Getting the lead early (like against NAU) and then trying some things that haven't been attempted or working. If we take care of the ball and our defensive scheme works well in the first half, we should have another commanding lead at halftime. Followed by another "sit back and lets see what happens if we try this" second half.

I see a better game from us against Sac St., but it won't be the best game yet. Our defense is getting healthy, which will show against Sac.

What happen after we blew NAU out of the game last year? Lost three straight.
What happen after we blew SFA out of the game this year? Got crushed by Cal Poly.

Nothing good comes from blowing teams away for this Bobcat team. Sometimes it just happens with everything going our way or the other team is just going through the motions. The score doesn't matter in this game. As long as we win and show improvement to build our confidence going into Cheney next week.
