Sac State Strategy

Well the last time I posted over 6 weeks ago many Bobcats were trying on their National Championship rings. What the !$%^&**!! happened?? I go to BC for some much needed Steelhead flyfishing and I come home to this?? WOW!!
Anyway, I met a Sac State gentleman at the SEATAC airport a few days ago. He says they own us mentally and have no pressure to win but the CATS do. Could be true. I say the CATS will tell us a lot about the program with this game. If the CATS score more points than the Hornets then life is good.
Remember, it is always better to win ugly rather than to lose looking good. I'll be there loud & proud on Saturday.

GO CATS!!

They've beaten us once in the last 4 years and suddenly they OWN us?
Give me a break. Proof positive that Cali truly is the land of fruits & nuts!
Steelhead, did you get a card from the guy? I think we'd all like to drop him a line when we b!tchslap them back to reality Saturday.

Tell them to make sure they bring a lot of PAM this week. They are going to need it. This team will be ready this week I can guarantee it. Payback baby!

Hey guys, my point is Sac State feels no pressure coming into to Bozeman but the CATS have to win this game. Every SSU fan is certainly entitled to their opinion just like we CATS and the griz fans. Doesn't make them or us always right. Why do we always have a big let down each year against supposenly lesser teams?? Weird stuff.
Travis Lulay admits that last years game was very disappointing & embarrassing. Coach K remembers it all the time in his Booster speeches. Failure breeds doubt. You don't think the CATS remember that dismal experience??? You don't think they fear another repeat of last year?? We may "Bitch Slap" SSU on Saturday (and we should) but I know who the "Cell Bitches" were in last years game. BTW, weren't we suppose to Bitch Slap PSU & Cal Poly too?? It seems more like a little Cell Bitch love tap.
So someone please tell me again why NOT to sweat the small stuff when preparing for each game when our running game, special teams and defense are all suspect. Please tell me. Oh, that's right, we can Bitch Slap USC & Texas because we're so flipping good that's why.

You have a point Steelhead, but I remember the last time Suc came to Bozeman... well, there is snow on the ground in Bozeman right now (albeit not much) but its predicted to rain/snow for the next 3 days as well with temps on Saturday low 30's at kickoff (and Sucs sidelines will be in the shade all day making things even colder for them.
Not that games are won and lost by temps alone, but knowing that team, I will be surprised if Suc has enough Sac to even show up. Cats win going away 38-10.

Bum, They don't
fear another repeat of last year. They weren't prepared emotionally last year - for whatever reason it seems everytime we go to Cali we take a mental vacation. Not the case this year - every game is a playoff, the players know it, and will be prepared. Also, no one is suggesting we shouldn't be concerned about our problem areas. Why the sarcasm anyway? Just show up game day, root the team on, celebrate a win, and do it again next week. Chill.

How would rain affect the Cats this year with the lack of running game? I don't think Sac. St. has much of a chance what ever the weather is but if it rains against EWU, I would think EWU could turn to Cole to run the ball. What would MSU do to adjust?

Pass the ball. Lulay has passed in rain and snow without an apparent problem.
Listening to Kramer last night from Coaches Show, he said he expects about 11 or 12 running plays against Sac State (and probably all the remaining games). 2 to 4 will be Lulay designed draws called in (this does not count audibles by Lulay at the line). The other 6 to 9 will be to the running back. They are looking at who will get those carries. So don't expect 100 yards or establishing a major running game. Unless of course Kramer is lieing to us (would he do that?)
Interestingly, some say a receiver has the advantage on a slick field because they know where they are going and the defender has to react. They also change the ball when wet, so it's Pass baby pass.

Well anytime it's cold and you have cole laying around, you burn it to stay warm. Why must this always be difficult?
