Hi all, just wanted to let you all know that in a very class act gesture and follow through by Peter Fields and Montana State University, they have re-imbursed us for all the damage and replacement costs for everything on the Battle Wagon that was damaged/vandalized/missing from our game with you. This just re-inforces the image that we have of you folks and Montana State. We again had a fantastic time and only hold a few select idiots responsible for making our trip not so enjoyable. The only disturbing thing is I have yet to have the question answeared as how is the investigation going? I certainly hope the law enforcement folks did some follow -up, and I certainly hope the culprits have to pay back every dime to Montana State that was payed to us. The were certainly provided enough information/descriptions/names to be able to find the culprits. Also congrats on the victory Saturday, and best of luck the rest of the season. I also informed the NDSU athletic dept. to be sure and mention this class act gesture in future communications with Montana State as it was very much appreciated.

Bisonfan1... I am very pleased at MSU's response too. Thanks much for communicating this to us and for maintaining such a class act amidst the touble you were caused. A friend of mine from Moorhead sent me a clipping of an ariticle in the Fargo Forum of another person who really blasted MSU and Bozeman for the behavior of a fan or fans sitting next to them. It certainly makes me ashamed of any of that behavior and I hope you send this email to the paper just to let them know we are not as bad as they said. Thanks again... I hope to see you and your vehicle at the next NDSU-MSU game in Bozeman... with all the trimmings. Best of luck to you and to the Bison.

I'm glad to see that you were repaid for the damage to your bus, bisonfan1. Don't let a few idiots spoil your view of all MSU fans. Hats off to MSU and Peter Fields for compensating our NDSU friends. As many have said, I hope that this rivalry becomes something good and maybe someday even a conference rivalry.

I think this was a terrible thing that happened, and a very honorable action by the MSU athletic department. As a Griz fan, I would say that most MSU fans, just like most UM fans, are classy fans.

I was at the game and had a great time - it was colder than hell. I hope we meet again soon when we have all DI-AA players. The Bobcat fans were great and that was a class act to repay Bisonfan1 for the damage. Hey beat the Griz so they're not so cocky.

That is great MSU reimbursed you for all the damage. A very classy part by Peter Fields and the MSU administration to make things right. Thanks for coming up WYOBISON and all the other NDSU fans. It was a really good game and fun was had by both sides (and isn't that the point ). I hope this rivalry is renewed in the future as well (at least alternate years or something like that maybe?).
