I thought Papich played a heck of a game. He is turning out to be a stud on the d line and in the next 3 years will be a star. I loved the ALMOOOOSST TD
I also thought Rogers did a great job as well. He made some stops when it counted.
On offense the game ball goes to Ghuin
What are your thoughts boys and girls?

Have to agree. Papich could see the end zone, but those big guys aren't used to carrying the ball & he got stripped. Rogers played very good, Guinn had some key receptions & blocked well.
Still an ugly game though, but it's a win.

I need to add that Bolton KICKED OFF this game. YAH! Much better LOS and field position this game. Could it be we are going to end up with a kicking game?

I have to say that was the ugliest game I have seen in a very long time. My game ball has to go to E.J. Cochrane though, because he is the only guy I know that can get credit for 4 yards rushing on 6 carries here at a game while he is in Philadelphia practicing his kicking. Here is the link for the stats of the game from ESPN.com.

I'm pretty impressed that we beat Arizona State University! (that's what our P.A. announcer called them).

That IS funny. Yea, I didn't see him at the game. Maybe he is why we won this ugly game.

19 yards for the running backs. Is this an all time school low?

The only running back that Kramer will use is Lulay. I wonder at the blocking schemes on the run. I don't see much openings on the line and the only runs that work seem to be play action, or quick pitches. With no running game we are in trouble in 2 weeks. The time is now, at Sac State to commit to developing some run offense.
Game plan: Pass for 3 quick scores-- defense holds and then run until our tongues fall out!!!

Domineck or Groves needs to start for us. I am tired of Bass and his less then stellar performances every game. I think that Groves has the edge over Domineck, but I could care less which one starts at this point.

We don't pull linemen and attack one defensive position on the edge...I don't think the idea of Birkeland and Figeroa bearing down on a defensive end strikes fear in the heart of anyone!

???? Bass has been out for the past few games. Domineck can't get more than 2 yards a rush. Put in Groves, even if he fumbles once or twice he at least fights for yards.
