Hink's Latest
Actually, he wrote a pretty good article, despite the typos. I hope MSU athletic department people are reading the Chronic today.

I disagree that the Message Board community can't help out with the banners. I think the Bobcat Fans that frequent this board are the most die hard Bobcat Fans out there and will do anything for the program so let MSU work on the stadium LARGE improvements and we can use smaller groups to work on and fund the 'decorating' that will make our stadium look and feel a lot better! I think working on small projects like the 3 banners would also help the Bnation community as a whole and give us an active part in helping support MSU and our team. Bobcat Nation could work on one issue a year and slowly build up what we have in the stadium. The best one mentioned this year was the National Championship flags. I really think we need to get those in place by next year?
What do you all think?
Again I give Kudos to Hink for some of the issues he's been tackling so far though. I have really liked his last 2-3 columns. They are very valid points.

Cardiac,
I agree that BN should go forward with the fundraising for the NC banners. I think that Hink was saying that we "shouldn't" have to; that it should be up to the university to do this. But, I like the idea of active fans making a contribution; something we can say we helped to do.![]()

I'm glad someone else outside of the worldwide home for Bobcats noticed this problem. We really need to display our tradition for everyone to see at Bobcat stadium.

We do list our national championships and conference titles on the reader board in front of the stadium. Of course like Hink said, nothing inside. I know that Kramer would like to see the major projects done first (i.e. putting spin turf down), but really displaying our football history is both inexpensive and good for the atmosphere. The athletic department should do something about this oversight.
