Isn't that what proof readers are responsible for? What idiots.

grizhatr: Can I come to your work and watch you for a day? Never make a mistake? lighten up, nobody lost a leg and it gave Wildrat a chance to say something somewhat witty. :D (which is an improvement over most of Wildrats comments)

Off topic. What is the story on the cats 2nd string QB? anybody, bueller, Bueller, anybody.....

Have a cow man!

I didn't realize Lulay was the one that beat the Griz. If I remember correctly, he didn't play all that great either game.

At the Scrimmage in Great Falls, Cory Carpenter looked very solid. In fact, twice I noticed him lead the team downfield with several great passes, and then either Kramer put Lulay in, or there was a weird call and they switched sides or something. It was kind of strange because in the write-ups, Lulay was given all the credit for the scores, (Which, he did play very well), but Carpenter got shafted IMO. That's the way I saw it anyway.

Easy there CTOWM...you are splitting hairs here. Everyone who was suited up on the MSU sidelines the last 2 years are entitled to say "they" beat the Griz, regardless of how good the did or didnt play, or if they even played at all. They all had a hand in getting that victory. And for your information, Lulay was the best QB on the field 2 years running.

We aren't just interested in beating the Griz, but taking the Big Sky title and marching on into the playoffs. MSU would not have won the Big Sky Championship last year had it not been for Lulay ... PERIOD.

Well said Cardiac. Winning the final game in December is more important to me than simply beating the Griz in November.

Hey Jagur, when a national magazine puts something in print, it is their responsibility to get their information correct, right? I am fairly positive that if they did a misprint on the ol mighty griz, you would be spouting off as well, since that is what you do best.

I hate to get off topic again but isn't Cory Carpenter hurt or something? If he is who is the back up.

& Hater: Since when? I can name thousands of misprints. And once again if nobody lost a leg who cares.

I believe Cory Carpenter is having/had knee surgery, and is not available this season.
The backup qb during the spring was Rick Coppack, and he was very impressive.

Any word on who's showed up? Any surprises? Good/bad?

Note to self: must be patient....dying for info

Coppack is the backup this year, Carpenter is out for the season. Hopefully, he will be able to get this year of eligibility back from the NCAA, I can't see why he wouldn't. Then again, never count on anything with the friggin' NCAA. I have been very, VERY high on Carpenter ever since last fall practice when I first saw him play. He will be a very good QB for us in a couple years. Not as high on Coppack, although he is capable. He had a very solid spring game by all accounts in Great Falls, but played absolutely horrible in the Sonny Holland game. Hope that was just an "off" day... if he was Tiger Woods, he would have been "very close" that day! LOL

What's wrong is that was not the final cover, it was an art proof.
