I only bring this up because earlier this year over on egriz you told me Butte would beat the Braves.

) really has his crew confident & believing in themselves. Watkins is REALLY improving as their QB & I think this team might be capable of beating anyone in AA (except West, who no one can beat).Braves ran out to a 29-0 halftime lead; special teams ran back the opening kick of the game for 6, had a big punt return that set up a FG, and also scored a SAFETY ON A BUTTE KICKOFF RETURN! If I had a dollar for every time I'd seen that..... I'd have a dollar! (cue rim shot) Throw in a 90 yard touchdown drive and a 49 yard Hail Mary with under 20 seconds to go and the Braves were in total control.
Salo's kids did come out and score a TD on the opening drive to start the 3rd; Flathead answered to go up 35-7; Butte scored in the 4th, recovered an onside kick, scored again, recovered ANOTHER onside kick, but couldn't score again.
The Brave defensive front is AWESOME. They probably finished with at least 6 sacks tonight and were constantly harassing the Butte QB's. Dan Ogden, Richard Boggs, and Damian Farrier are all kids the Bobcats should be looking at.
The Braves have a great chance now to finish the regular season 7-2; they are @ Sentinel next week and @ Bozeman the week after. The way they're playing right now, I would NOT want to play them in the playoffs (unless I'm Billings West).
