Game predictions... MSU vs. PSU

I have not seen a thread to predict the game score. Maybe it exists, but here is another.
I think the Cats are a better team than PSU. If they can stop Rubin, they'll win the game. The PSU passing attack is worse than UM's.
However, PSU on the road is a very difficult place to win. I believe that PSU has perhaps its best overall team in many years, except for the QB position. Do not let their won-lost record fool you. They have played both IA opponents very tough games, and played EWU extremely tough on the road until they feel apart in the 4th quarter.
PSU 30
Cats 16

There will be more Cat fans there than PSU fans and with the 100+ people there just to cheer on Lulay, he will not allow the Cats to lose.
I am nervous about the game, but deep down, I fully expect MSU to play the way we have been expecting for weeks now.
MSU 27 PSU 13 in a rainy one.
EDIT: I would also add, this is my first game to watch in person this year so I take full responsibilty for the result ahead of time.

Tough call, we are a little banged up on Defense. I think the Offense will play a much better game than they did against Weber. The Cats D needs to slow down Rubin, not stop him (I don't think anybody has stopped him yet). If they slow down Rubin get an early lead, I think the Cats will win by 10.
Cats 30
PSU 20
GO CATS!!

This game depends on if the cats can stop reuben
if they can the cats will win and big
if they cant it is up in the air
***edit****
normally wolf would be flamed for that on egriz because he selected the
"home" team, in this case the cats - to loose, now he is just amongst people predicting a score....

Ricky is coming off a horrid day at WSU. Look for some piss and vinegar out of our offense. MSU 37 PSU 23.

I don't see PSU winning a close game. If they jump out early watch out for a repeat of the Cal Poly game and we lose big. If we get a good start and play to the level we all know this team can we pull out another tight one.
Being in an optimistic mood:
Cats 26
Vikings 24
If we win another close game I will be demanding that Cardiac Cats change his name to Blowout Cats. It is totally his fault that week after week they put us through the pain.
Hells is correct about Wolfman. I part of me thinks his score may be a lot closer than the others. I don't see us blowing them out but I can see us getting blown out. Here's to hoping Wolf is wrong on this one.

You know WYCAT .. I was thinking that myself a couple days ago that I might have to change my name

These close games are getting way too darn stressful these days.

If the game is close, we will win. Travis will make sure of that.
If we get behind early by a couple scores, I don't see us coming back in this one, though. PSU's defense is too good to let that happen two years in a row. If PSU gets ahead, our guys will start to question themselves, and PSU will just run the ball and eat the clock.
This game is very hard to predict. I think the Cats have more talent than PSU, and I would surmise that we win this game about 60 times out of 100. I think that if this team can focus on the task at hand ("business trip" mentality), we will win this one big. If we play like we have the last two weeks, I think PSU will kill us. They have a little paying back to do for last year, so they will be keyed up for this game.
My heart says 41-24 Bobcats, but my head says 38-21 PSU. Hope my heart brings its "A" game on Saturday!

i somehow think this game is not going to be close. only way it is going to be close is if psu can run the ball and keep lulay off the field. i dont see their d stopping travis and company at all
hey wolfy isnt it nice when 1/2 of all posters arent atacking you like on egriz??

Rubin runs for 140 yards or less ==> CATS win 30-17.
If Rubin runs wild and controls the clock on long sustained drives and the Cats get in a hole early ==> CATS lose 28-20.

Gotta prevent PSU getting a big lead. If MSU keeps it close, Lulay will deliver the win. If PSU gets out by more than 2 scores, I dont see these guys making the comeback this week. Rubin and the PSU defense is too good to let that happen.
Anyhoo... Cats 27 - PSU 17 (Gut tells me we contain Rubin and prevent scores inside the redzone.)

Let Rubin run. Make him earn every yard. They will make mistakes and our defense will be able to capitalize. I am afraid that their QB will have a break out game against us. I think that we will be able to move the ball at will.
CATS 40
VIKES 17

It is supposed to rain. Does anyone know if the artificial surface at PGE Park is that old slick stuff or the newer Spinturf or Field Turf?
Vikings: 40
Packers: 0

It is FieldTurf (like SprinTurf)...GT, I'm a big Vikings fan but this whole boat trip thing is kind sleazy..

I say we elect to recieve and put up a quick 7, then make PSU try and keep up with us.
If we turn this game into a race early, I see Cats winning 34-21. However if we come out slow and play without urgency I see PSU on top 28-24.
Turn on the afterburners, hold on and we win big!

Has the dark side influenced you WYCAT, you sound like a wus today.

I have no idea how the hell you think we could even remotely get blown out, must just be that our Cats cause us all to have pregame jitters. Their defense and offense is conventional and isn't as good as CP and if you look at last weeks game you'd wonder how the score ended the way it did. Possession-almost 2-1 BSU, third downs 27-12 BSU, total offense 469-269 BSU, third down conversions 7/15 BSU vs 2/13 PSU. PSU was very lucky to hang like they did. I say our offense goes off this weekend. The only way PSU has a chance is to keep the ball all the time (I don't think they can) and our offense doesn't show up (which won't happen). But even then - blowout - no way! Not into score predictions but in this one we win without a heart attack ending.

BIG game... but two bigger ones coming! Cats can take big step toward conference title winning this one! As you all say, PSU will be a tough one at home. PSU doesn't throw that well and Cats pass D is solid. The reverse is true running the ball. Cats stop the big plays they win... give u the big runs they may fall. But offensively I believe they are due to breakout... they are so talented... and receivers will have great day... so Cats win 35-28.

Cats are trying to kill me off at an early age still....
27-24 Cats, I think if they defense brings their A-game, we could win by more, but until someone proves me wrong on D, I'm just going to have to rely on someone close by knowing CPR!
