When in doubt, "medical redshirt" I say. Get healthy we really need him next year, and we do not need another Claymond Jacobs situation (boy i had to go back far for that one).

Yeah, I was talking with him and Brandon Johnson the other night. Chawn was kind of bummed by the knee surgery, but I would like to see what he can do this year. He adds a lot of height/depth at the 4 and 5 spots.

mslacat,

Judging by your comments and the fact that you remember Claymon Jacobs tells me that we are of the same vintage.

When I first got to MSU, I got to watch Doug Hashley score his 1000th career point. Now I'm hoping that his daughter Holly will announce soon that she's going to follow in Dad's footsteps and play for the Lady Cats.

We had a great couple of years when Stu was there; NCAA's one year (close game vs Walter Berry and St. Johns), NIT the next (a GREAT game vs Washington with Christian Welp and a couple of awesome Shann Ferch dunks!)

Hey I remember Claymond Jacobs-I was just a kid then but I remember him. Very bad knees.

Dang Shann Ferch went and scored too soon giving Washington the ball back with too much time (I think that was at the end of regulation). That NIT game was a lot of fun though-right up until we lost.
