Given phase iii of the big sky conference's plan to kill northdakotabison by continually teasing his team with an invitation a question came up..

for non-football play do big sky teams have travel partners?

and if so what are they?

Thanks for any help and congratulations in advance on winning the conference.

They do, Weber travels with Idaho St. Sac with NAU, Eastren WA with Portland St. and MSU with Uof M. I'm not sure who Northern CO will be traveling with though. Also I can't remember how it was done when Northridge was in the conference as it added an odd team like we will with Northern CO

There used to be a strick Travel partner relation ship for basketball. They still exist but once or twice a season you will see them go by the way side.

Montana/Montana State
Weber/Idaho State
Sac State/ Northern Arizona
Eastern Wash. / Portland State

The Sac State / Northern Arizona trip is a real stinker :penalty: :yuck:

Spokane to Portland is at least 6 hours, isn't it?

I know Southwest offers pretty cheap flights from PDX to Spokane...do teams normally fly or drive that trip?

How far is it from Missoula to Spokane?.... less than 6 hours I'd imagine.

Portland is kinda out here on it's own if you look at it that way.

Dump Portland and pick up NDSU and SDSU...no wait, I want Portland to stay in the Big Sky so that when NDSU is added, I can watch them play here...no, wait, ahh, I don't know what I want!

202 miles another 20 or so to Cheney, 3 hour to Spokane, 3/4 -1 hour through the never ending construction zone known as Spokane I-90,
