I'm not sure if people (mslacat) saw this, but it was on the website today
Want to know what's going through Mick Durham's mind in the days leading up to the opening of the 2005-06 Bobcat basketball season? Here's your chance.

E-mail questions for Coach Durham to blamberty@msubobcats.com, and we'll maintain a discussion session as the season dawns by answering selected questions on-line. OK Bobcat basketball fans this your chance.

For years I have heard complaints about how unaccessable Mick Durham is, so now Mick and Bill Lamberty are offering you a chance to get inside the program a little. We return our top seven payers from last year, add a transfer, starter, from Indian State a hot shooting JC guard and one of the best freshman recruiting class in recent memory. Put down your football depth chart for one minute think about a question and send it in. It is called multi-tasking. This looking to be a great fall and winter for Bobcat sports so get yourself a little prepped for the upcoming Mens basketball season. Basketball practice starts October 15th, and the first exibition game on Nov. 4

Is there a site where we can see all the questions asked and the responses from Coach Durham?

Not yet. I beleive Bill Lamberty is collecting questions right now. The idea is less than 24 hours old. As soon as something is up I hear Bobcatnation.com will have something letting us know. If the Grand Pooh Pa's of the site don't post something, I will.

But send a question in.

All of the above tells me that Coach Durham has no excuses this year. Could we actually see NCAA tourney #2 for Mick? It would appear that if it doesn't happen this year it may never happen.

Thanks MSLACAT and I will send in a question or two... and look forward to seeing something in BobcatNation later.

The Bobcats sound solid... looking very much forward to the Bobcat basketball team having a GREAT year too.

For now... my enthusiasm is as high as it has ever been for Bobcat football and basketball! And I love BobcatNation... what a great communication media for keeping up on Bobcat athletics and talking with so many great people!

Coach Durham,

Living in Portland, I had the pleasure of watching the Cat/Griz semifinal in last year's conference tourney. During the game, the group of MSU alums I was with were wondering why the MSU players and staff looked so passive the entire first half of the game. The Grizzlies were obviously playing and coaching with a much greater sense of urgency. It felt like the Bobcats weren't playing inspired basketball in their biggest game of the season.

With that, I have two questions.

What is the most important thing you would do differently during that game?

What is one thing that you learned from that loss that will help out this year's squad in their quest for the NCAA tournament?

Thank you, and best of luck to the Bobcats this season.

Did you send these questions to Bill Lamberty?
Would you like me to forward them on?

I am happy that Coach Durham decided to answer my questions about that loss. I give him major credit for confronting that disappointment and for answering questions about it. Thanks for forwarding my questions mslacat.

Actually I never did forward your questions. I asked if you wanted me to, but you never responded, so I never did.

I'm thinking Durham found thie post on the Nation and responded. The questions he answered were almost verbatum.
What a great site this is.
It must be easier to respond to tough questions when you are predicted to be #1 also.

Ask why the Cats can build a nice 10-15 point lead before the end of 1st half and then loss the lead in 2nd half. What is he going to do to fire up his team in for the 2nd half?
