So according to the latest polls, the Cats have played a DI-A school, and 4 teams ranked inside the top 30 in the country. Pretty impressive to be sitting at 3-2 if you ask me.

Keep it up Cats! Give 'em hell in Ogden!

Hopefully we will crack the top 10 if we beat Weber. I think that coupled with two top 25 victories and a good game at OK St. will get us over the hump.

Ok Oregon, but Fort Harrison or whatever was the name of the high school the Griz played, really drags down my opinion of their fluffy schedule.

Remeber what goes around comes around. Come basketball season we have a few "questinable" teams on our schedule and no real "Big" or "medium" names on our basketball schedule.

I know but really do we expect to do anything big with our basketball team? seriously? Id hate to break it to ya msla but our basketball team is a creampuff for 75 percent of the nation...shoot you can extend that to the big sky

I really hate to bring this question up, but...who are the 6 people that voted UM at first place?

The "east coast bias" does not apply to the Griz. And I for one am glad it doesnt. Look how tough the Big Sky looks right now with them at #6. I dont think they are anywhere close to the 6th best team in the country, and ISU game will tell a lot. But when the east coast recognizes the Griz, they also recognize the rest of the Big Sky.

Lets hope that East Coat Bias for the Griz collapses after a big ISU romp this weekend :) Once they hit 2 losses, their stock should fall quite a bit I would think (MSU should pass).

I don't agree; when the Griz lose to ISU this Saturday, depending on how those around them do, I'd bet they only drop 2 - 4 spots, TOPS.

When they lose to Cal Poly, however, they will fall to #12-16. And when the "Gato Trifecta" comes to fruition and they lose their 3rd straight to EWU AT HOME, I STILL wouldn't be surprised to see them at #25 simply due to their reputation...

Sad but probably mostly true, but I would think that even the griz couldn't handle 3 straight losses and stay in the top 25 at 3-4. If that happens there should be an immediate investigation.

Hate to say it, but I don't think the friz will lose three in a row. I don't think they will be 3-4. Just being realistic. I think they will beat ISU and they will lose to Cal Poly.

who really cares about the Griz so far. If they lose to Idaho State it will finally give us a comparison on a head to head game. Comparing scores because we beat someone that beat a team they barely beat is wishful thinking. If that was the case we should be written off for the thumping that Cal Poly gave us.

WOW, those are their next 3 games... October is make or break for these boys, think what happens when they play all their November games on the road  7-4 is going to be a very good record, 6-5 is more realistic.
