You know that T.V. station you signed up to broadcast Big Sky games, Altitude? Yeah, well even they think the refs suck. Heard 'em comment on it myself. Gonna fine 'em, or are you gonna address the problem? You fat bastard.

:P

Was that smack?

If we got refs that knew anything then it wouldn't be the Big Sky!

Just keep calling PF against the Cats at JUST THE WRONG TIME! :x

Officiating hasn't been that bad this year in football. Although the new officials for basketball is a reasonable request. Watch college basketball on TV and watch what the refs allow down low, they actually let the players play, then watch a big sky game, the refs call fouls when post players vye for position

Yung1gun,
I know you're trying to be logical on topics I've read you post so far. But, the problem with this year's refs aren't there overall performance. It's their blatant missed/incorrect calls they're making.
God knows I'll complain about a call that I probably know was close or could have gone either way.
But, yesterday there were too many that were either not called or called against the 'Cats at critical points in the game.
To me, that's why the situation is a problem.

And it's been mentioned before but I'm not afraid to say it again sometimes it looks as if they are just watching the game and then deciding to blow the whistle or throw a flag. Maybe they are a little tired from calling the middle school game the night before...who knows.

Speaking of non-calls, how do you miss a 250lb man in football pads spinning around through the air? Can you guess which play I'm talking about? Anyone else not-notice Barnhart getting blind-side helicoptered while he was trying to run a route in the 4th quarter yesterday?

Brilliant! These refs woulda got a beerbottle to the head if the game were in pokey.

It's amazing to me that there was no call on that play, Gav.

IT HAD TO BE PASS INTERFERENCE and could've been called a personal foul as well.

The ball is in the air, no one has touched it yet, and one of our receivers gets one of the biggest cheap shots I've ever seen; the question wasn't whether there'd be a penalty, but whether it would be MULTIPLE penalties on that cheap-shot bastard from ISU.

The fact that no flag was thrown is UNFORGIVABLE and the guys responsible for monitoring play in the defensive backfield should all be fined and/or suspended.

The entire stands where I was went nuts yelling at the stripes on that one - and Kramer was plenty animated and had a rather animated discussion as well :D

I cannot believe how anyone could have not seen that play - but that seems to sum up the officating :?

A great scientist once said, "you find what you're looking for". With that said, no ref is perfect, and no game will be perfectly called. Note Tennessee/Florida last year, which not only cost Florida the game but possibly Ron Zook his job, Florida fans said poor officiating Tennessee fans thought it was the right call.

didn't you hear him on the Griz game. He said the refs have improved, but they are a couple of plays under review.
