The Big Sky Conference has announced its football Players of the Week for Games played on Saturday, Sept. 10. Montana State wide receiver Tramaine Murray is the Offensive Player of the Week. Portland State cornerback Odell Jackson is the Defensive Player of the Week. Idaho State kicker Jaret Johnson is the Special Teams Player of the Week.

Murray, a 5-foot-10, 180-pound senior from Oxnard, Calif., hauled in seven passes for 141 yards with two touchdowns in No. 16 Montana State’s 42-6 victory over Stephen F. Austin. Murray, a transfer from Washington State, caught an 18-yard TD pass from Travis Lulay with 4:28 left in the second quarter to give the Bobcats a 14-0 lead. Murray added a 54-yard scoring reception in the third quarter. Murray is the first Bobcat this season to post a 100-yard receiving game. Murray has 11 catches for 178 yards this season.
